Hrivik is now 6th in Rookie scoring in the league, but he never gets a star of the game and little or no print in the news paper.

I've been impressed with him all year, more and more as time goes on... He has great vision, great hockey sense, pretty strong too and real good hands... He seems more and more comfortable out there as the season moves along..

I think he has benefited from no KK. He is able to make a name for himself and not be over shadowed.

I think he has benefited from no KK. He is able to make a name for himself and not be over shadowed. He's gotten more ice time, but I think the main reason for the improvement is that it takes Euros a good couple months usually to get fully comfortable. The exception being guys like Kabanov that can get by on talent alone.

Ummmm...do you see where I said the main reason he is playing better was no KK.. I said he has benefited from it. Yes the adjustment period and not being overshadowed.. He is beginning to feel comfortable here and should be fun to watch rest of season and next

He is beginning to feel comfortable here and should be fun to watch rest of season and next I don't think it has anything to do with Kabanov. He has simply adjusted to the game and the Flynn systems. Early in the year you could see hesitation in just about everything he did ... he was quick to dish the puck off to his linemates ... hesitated along the boards. Now there is none of that ... he wants the puck ... works hard along the boards ... knows his linemates well ... and plays with a high level of confidence.
