I read on twitter that Hannay destroyed Haas if so would this be Hass' first loss in the Q? If true , yes.

They were both throwing a lot of punches and Hannay caught him right on the button and dropped him. This was immediately following T. Vielleux getting a win over Lalonde, which was less than a minute after Delisle got the better of Melindy (though no one did any damage in that one). All in all, not a good night for the Cats.

Cats in Victoriaville tonight. Jaskin's last game before leaving for the WJC.. Using the Billy Bedlam Remote Player Analysis and Status System ('BBR PASS'), Jaskin likely should have played his last game in a Wildcats jersey tonight. Since he is already way ahead of Jonathan Huberdeau in league scoring, he clearly has nothing left to prove in major junior hockey in Canada ... therefore the St. Louis Blues need to find a higher league for him to play in elsewhere in the world. Editor's Note: please set your sarcasm setting to 'bad joke', in response to Billy's constant rants about a few Sea Dogs during his frequent trolling of the Dog Pound.

It's quite surprising, Han-ay was a unching bag the last couple years in Halifax.

I wouldnt call it a TKO. Both got good punches in but Hannay definately got the win. Victo had all the momentum too.

At 17+18 he fought everyone and while he didn't win them all on points, he rarely took a beating or got dropped...at 19 he was winning most of his fights. At 20, and 6'4, he will be one of the toughest in the league.

While Dubeau didn't have his best game, he still made a lot of huge saves including a couple of breakaways, a 4 on 1, one timers down low, etc. The Cats made A LOT of tournovers. There is a couple of goals he'd like to have back I'm sure though. I felt bad for him on the 7th goal. Flynn thought it was a good idea to pull the goalie while down 3 goals and Dubeau was halfway off the ice and the Cats turned it over for a wide open net goal.
Garland looked good. Got knocked off the puck easily but he definitely has skill. He almost scored a few times and he looked good with Barbashev on the few shifts he had with him.

I wouldnt call it a TKO. Both got good punches in but Hannay definately got the win. Victo had all the momentum too. Hannay switched to the left hand and caught him right on the button. Haas crumpled and went to the dressing room after the fight instead of the penalty box.

This isn't the fight but something you might want to see if people missed it. Garland 1, Eichel 0.

Who is this kid Garland ? Awful small, but speedy. Is he comparable to Eichel ? US kid we picked in the 6th round. Played with Eichel last year (they're the same age) and put up more points than him. He's likely not the pro prospect that Eichel is due to the size but it was pretty obvious last night he has some serious skill. 6 shots I think in his first game and a goal. I have pretty high hopes for him at 19-20.
