Good news for us this weekend Matt is good to go; and Clarke started skating today and is a possibility for next weekend. Absehaulter will start skating next week, but is expected at the German team camp next weekend, so won't be back till after Christmas for us. I'm going to say a tight one with Quebec 3-2 Halifax Go Moose Go!!!

Fireball your the one with crap She is only reports things about the Moose... I also think that Hfxfan09 brings an excitement to board also that has been missing the last few seasons..With this team developing so will new fans and we all have to be there to assist them and keep them posting here..Not shooting them down every time you don't agree with their statements try to help us out here we all need the support of all fans here.

It has been 2 weeks since the Moose capped a four game undefeated home stand, and 2 weeks since our last win.
On paper it certainly looks like a mismatch as Quebec has 41 points in 28 games to sit 3rd overall in the Q. Halifax has 12 points in 27 games and are in the league basement. The Ramparts are an impressive 9-3-2 on the road so clearly are just as comfortable playing outside the confines of the Colisee.
Quebec is 6-2-2 in there last 10 while the Moose are 4-5-1.
Halifax's chance to take this game will rest on the goaltending match up in my mind. It will be interesting to see if Patrick goes back to Delmas after his strong performance against Cape Breton or if he will rest him for Saint John tomorrow night. I think it is likely that we get to see the 19 year old free agent Gagnon who is 9-6 with a 3.11GAA and a .888SP. A strong performance by Corbeil could very well turn this game in our favor.
Halifax is lead by Tomas Knotek 26 GP, 14 G, 12 A, 26 Pts; Gerrad Grant 23-11-9-20 While Quebec's leading scorers are: Marc-Olivier Vallerand 27-12-17-29, Dmitri Kugryshev 25-8-18-26.
David Gilbert scored the winner early in the 3rd in a close 3-2 game in Quebec in October. Hopefully he will not pull a Nill/Glavic on us.
Hopefully a good crowd will turn out, the atmosphere will be like it was in the last home game and the boys feed of that energy.
GO MOOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm just hoping they can keep it close and maybe get Quebec off their game, also hoping the rain doesn't keep fans from showing up.

Well we lost 4-2 to a better team Quebec was in control from the first time the puck was dropped I wish that I could come here and say we were better then them but they showed why they are one of the better teams in league..I can see Patrick going after some goalie like Cape Breton's Roy for sure and even going after Thomas too...Hoping tomorrow we will come to work and pick up two points..

Not too bad a game I can see why Quebec is at the top but there not as good as they're pegged to be I can see Gatineau knocking them outta the playoffs but there is always surprises maybe they'll surprise me and go all the way ; I'm looking forward to tomorrows game Yuri's welcome back to Moose Country Go Moose Go!!!! Great fight we clearly won the fight took him down!!!

Another good effort by the moose. Corbeil was strong the first 2 periods and really did not let in any weak goals. I usually do not notice other teams players unless they stand out. Ryan Bourque impresed me. The kid works hard at both ends, sniped a great goal and was a standout. David Gilbert I noticed for the opposite reasons. I am glad we traded him.
Another game where we hung in there against a good team. Untill they got the 3rd goal it could have gone either way I enjoyed it.
