I was going to wait until the moose won so i would not be accused of only going on site when they lost.only problem with that idea is that it could be february or march before they won again.hats off to the baboon for those great pick ups over the past few days.they really made a difference.then again they fit in well with the lack of skilled players we already have.another coconut must have fallen on the head of the baboon.can someone send him a hard hat and throw in a brain to go along with it. then again all the problems on this team are the fault of the ex- gm. what a joke. Do you have anything constructive to add besides name calling?

IMO Bobby Smith has made some crucial mistakes, which has cost him a lot of money and I hope he learns from them. I still am a BIG Moose Fan. Donger constructive critisism is always better then ranting.

Honestly, why do people even waste their time responding to him? we know he's a joke so just skip over his post and go on with the thread. When you start responding everything becomes a gongshow and the threads ruined.

If Halifax ever wants to make a run (in a year or two) they better trade or draft someone that can stop a puck. If that sounds defeatist just look at the stats. i was just thinking that last night, you have to build a champion from the net out and do we want to build around Corbeil??

Last night wasn't really Corbeil's fault. The first goal wasn't "weak" - it was a complete freak accident. Brodeur threw a hard pass out front from the sideboards, and it took a one-in-a-thousand bounce off Dimitruk's stick. Fooled everyone in the rink, not only Corbeil. Can't really blame anyone on a crazy bounce like that.
The rest of the game, the kid was totally blitzed - CB was getting scoring chances left and right, Corbeil was challenged far more than the shots on goal indicate. The entire first five minutes was point blank chances inside his zone, along with a couple of partial breakaways. In fact, he settled in pretty nicely after those three goals in the first three minutes... some would have totally crumbled. However, it's true his rebound control could have been better on a couple of the goals.
All in all, Corbeil isn't what people should be blaming for last night's result. It was just pure domination, could have been 9-0 or so. Could well be a different story tonight in your guys' rink though.

If you want to build a contender you'll need a younger goalie than Corbeil-Theriault, he'll be 20 or 21 when you're ready to contend, depending on his developent and where he is drafted.

Why do people call him Corbeil? I thought kids with hyphonated names were either Corbeil-Theriault or just their last name Theriault...Like Louis Boileau-Domingue is never called Boileau and Olivier Bellvance-Roy is never called Bellavance...
Damn Quebec hyphonated names!
