They have traded both Doyle and Champagne to Victoriaville.

It must be doubly frustrating to be a die hard fan / season ticket holder of the Rockets . It looks like they are just a Farm Club for other Q Teams . Like the Pittsburgh Pirates or the Kansas City Royals they just kinda......................"exist" . They don't draw that great and Ownership must some how every year come up with a Positive Spin to put on things .............I wonder how Cape Bretoners would put up with this kinda stuff ?

This should make Mario even more excited to load up. One less obstacle in his way.

This should make Mario even more excited to load up. One less obstacle in his way. This obstacle of PEI was never in their way. Either PEI was finishing 3rd or 4th or Cape Breton was finishing 3rd or 4th. They probably with 95% wouldn't have met in the playoffs unless both got to the finals.

Lagace is an excellent offensive player who crashes and bangs.
Having Adam, Lagace, and Legault on the same team would make for a bit of an identity shift for the current Eagles club and definitely make us a great deal tougher to play against.
I;d still say there's a possibility Lagace plays in the league as a 20 too so maybe he can be flipped again at the draft if need be. but hey, it's still December.

Martel wants more for Legace than he got for Deschamps because for some reason he feels Legace will play as a 20....which is doubtful.
I dont see a match between CB and CHI in a trade...its not a good fit at all.

Talent wise, top to bottom, PEI was probably a stronger team than the Eagles up to December. But they seem to have a lot of trouble getting consistent play out of their players.
Several of their posters are not thrilled with their deal but glad that they decided to sell and to do some house cleaning at the same time.

He's drafted and is scoring at a 60 goal pace, can't see him in the Q at 20...though stranger things have happened...but you can't bank on it.

A lot of their most skilled players were underachieving...Champagne(somewhat) Doyle Southorn Duffy...

I dont see a match between CB and CHI in a trade...its not a good fit at all. yeah, the fact that you'd have to argue Martel out of Lagace playing at 20 is tough enough as it is to make a deal... tough tinkering indeed. I assume Ellis at the draft is an absolute guarantee if we're to land this guy as unlikely/iffy as it is.

You literally have no young roster players who CHI would want. Youd need to trade Jodoin for sure, that is if CHI is high on him, after that you have Shaw who likely wont interest Chicoutimi. I guess you could toss in Vincent Boudreau-Plouffe but he is a corner stone to your 2012 Mem Cup bid.
