So what if Laraque threw a punch or not, he still put Hahache at a disadvantage by grabbing him and trying to pull him off. Why didn't he grab Greenough's arms and try to pull him away??? I think Flinn and Laraque were friends from when they played together in Halifax which is what probably saved him from getting beat. Also in the video it looks like someone was holding Flinn back until an assistant basically frees Flinn to join in. Ummm.... probably because Greenough was laying on his back getting wailed on..... he was defenceless..... how would you want Laraque to grab Greenough? Burrough under the ice and come from under neath? It was two guys that didn't like each other (Lahace/Greenough)squarring off, and a 3rd guy (Flinn) who had a personal vendetta against another taking advantage of a situation to kick his ass.

Maybe you should go back and watch the video again. When Laraque jumps in to play peacemaker, Greenough is on his feet and Laraque is pulling on Hunter for about 6-7 seconds. You make it seem like Greenough was laying on the ice and Laraque comes in to pull Hunter off.
If Laraque wanted to play peacemaker maybe he should have pulled Greenough off the ice in the 5 min. they were standing by the bench.
