It just appears offside because as Hoffman gets to the blueline he turns and takes 2 strides along the blueline while the other Seadog player flies by him heading to the front of the net. Clearly ONSIDE Clearly Onside?? I disagee, running it slow motion to me it is a 50/50 so tie goes with the runner and can't blame the linesman there. Full speed looks totally different. Again very hard to determine not so clear.

QMJHL referee in chief is at both games this weekend [Jean Hould], on post game show it was stated that they checked with him on the video replay and the call was correct, onside.

I was talking about the positives of a 3-2 loss to the #1 team in the country.
Fuck, if you want to talk about the 3-2 Halifax game, I was there and embarassed by the effort that game, no aguements here.
There has been no shortage of downers (especially at home). God fucking forbid someone talk about a positive though.
There will also be no arguements here about the bonehead moves made that will leave us at the bottom of the league with little assets to help us improve. Overall we have a good record, a good team, just not good enough to meet any expectations considering what we sacrificed.
Save some of that negativity for after the playoffs or even next year cause I'm sure it will be needed then.

I don't see ANY loss as a positive for this team. If we had a couple wins against them this year, then sure a tight loss like that could be seen as a positive but not when you're 0-for-the-season against them. There's positives to speak about, but if you ask me they're ALL individual. The play of Adam and Horyl. Development of Ellis. Legault bringing solid work ethic. I was only pointing out the Halifax loss because I don't see how you can lose 3-2 to the best AND the worst and take positives out of losing to the best when the team has done nothing but tell us fans that we're on par with a team like that. Both 3-2 losses tell me there's more wrong with this team that even us here can imagine so I do have a tough time seeing a positive in it. Beat Halifax 5-1 and loss to SJ 3-2....sure....but that 2nd loss isn't a positive, not in my opinion anyway. Does anyone else see positives in yet another loss to SJ?(Serious question here, i'm not looking for a fight, just some other opinions and I know there's gotta be some out there )

Your over looking a major problem! Roy is weak on his glove side and once a team scores on him it looks like he gives up!

I wouldn't call anything about Roy a major problem. Sure he has some softies, moreso this year than previous, but he is a top goalie in this league and he will win you more than he cost you. The major problem is behind the bench.

He is good but teams know he is weak on the glove side. Next home game watch were team score on him the most.

And Jack, I agree that it is terrible we are winless against Saint John, especially since most, myself included, thinks they would be a better option of matching up against in round 1. Not the most encouraging thing when you would rather face the #1 team in the country. I just commented on that 1 game in the game day thread. I was not doing a season series review or a season review. After all even a win and you could still point out that we only have 1 win against Saint John and shoot down any positive remarks.
Overall I agree with alot of your opions on the inconsistinces of this team, Mario, his trades, and the mismanaging of the teams assets. Alot of expectations were placed on this team when Mario choose the direction for this team.
Thank God you are not a Halifax fan. You would have fits reading the positive comments written by Hfxfan 09...lol
