Thanks Webber.
That sounds promising that he could fit in next year. Sometimes playing in Midget or whereever an extra year can do wonders for the confidence.

LaLa not trying to be sarcastic at all just asking your advice/opinion. Why wasnt Boudreau on this years team. Was he just not that good or was his devolpment outside of the Q that much more important. Guys like Crosby and much more come in right away. Why was this guy delayed a year. Hope I dont sound to stupid just wondering the reasoning With the way things were in September I think Halifax (and Boudreau) realized he wasnt going to get a lot of icetime this year... The issue with Boudreau is...he hasnt grown since he was 14 so you can pretty much assume he will be 5'08-5'09 and he has actually lost 6 pounds since September, going rom 148 to 142...the kid needs to bulk up, not lose weight. I get the feeling he just doesnt train seriously, which isnt so bad, that likely means if he did start hitting up the gym he could add weight. Another issue with Boudreau is his overall speed and quickness. His scouting report at the draft was that he has great hands, good hockey sense but lacks size/speed...and that scouting report still holds true in my opinion. He has shown he can torch Midget AAA players who are smaller and slower than Q players so to me there are still question marks about what kind of impact Boudreau will have next year.

Hope I dont sound to stupid just wondering the reasoning It was actually his camp (him/parents/agent) that made that call. He was close to making the team out of training camp but his size has probably the biggist thing against him. He was brought in at Christmas and played 5 games with one point and -7. He did not look that out of place. I believe Cam was prepared to keep him for the second half. Matthew decided finishing the year in midget might be best for him. I am looking forward to seeing him a Moose jersey next year. I heard something to do with school too. He wanted to finsh the year with frends and start fresh here next year.
