Moncton are playing without Wall and Jodoin on their blueline. Did Brannon return?

Eagles will just have to come back tomorrow night with the work boots and the hard hats on and get right back to work. It's only one game, erase it from your mind and go out and win tomorrow night.

hearing fourniers name alot but not too much of larade. So 5 i guess? With Ellis not at 100% from what i heard anyways, more like 80%, its tough to win like that. Yes it is. But with the injuries they have, and the prices we paid for some of these so called stars, we have zero reason to lack depth like we do on defence without having any serious injuries. They're missing Jodoin and Wall....what would we look like with a Brodeur and/or Meilleur right now?

Apparently Brannon has a broken wrist after being hit. If that's the case that's huge news for the Eagles.

Moncton dominated the face offs tonight. Adam 8 out of 21 & MacDougall 6 out of 26.

Totally obvious, you can't play 4.5 Defensemen 60 minutes against that offensive line up and expect to hold them. Let alone play 4.5 Defensemen for a 4 of 7 series... Brodeur, Pisca, Mei and Ellis were tanked half way through the second, imagine after 2 or 3 games like that? Moncton in four...

ffmedic9588 asked how you take a too many men penalty. That's 1 thing we practiced all season long!
An old problem resurfaced tonight. It was a great 30 minute effort with Roy playing really well!
Also Adam's late body check did not make up for a pretty laclustre effort tonight. His line was outshined by Tessier's line clearly.
Too many penalties. Penalty killing really wears down a short D and Moncton is too well coached to keep giving them power plays!
On the positive side, the first 30 minutes showed that the Eagles can play pretty well against this Moncton team.

That too many men on the ice penalty was as obvious as they get. Cats were cycling in the CB zone and CB had 6 on the ice for quite a few seconds.

I hear the officating was brutal tonight hope its better for the rest of the series...insight from any CB fans that traveled down or Moncton fans there! Very bad as in extremely inconsistant. Say, like call a chincy little penalty being called for a 5-3 but not a blindsided hit in the center of the ice with no puck not being called. Those 2 had no idea what was going on IMO

Come on guys, they're just living up to the Q standards!
I don't think many, if any Eagle fans would seriously blame tonight's loss on the refs though!
