Good for Adam and Lagace, but I'd really like to see our third Sabres' prospect, Max Legault, get a sniff. He was likely our best forward in the playoffs (not that that's saying much, I know, but he's one of the few that for sure showed up every night).

I think Adam can improve in several areas and cardio maybe one of them but I really think attitude and an honest work ethic need serious attention. He showed those qualities of team play and determination as well as solid two way play with Team Canada but forgot them, many nights with the Eagles in the second half of the season and playoffs.
It would be a shame to see a player with such obviously strong skills not develop fully as a hockey player, especially when he's been given every opportunity to succeed. There's more to the game of hockey than just scoring goals.

Luke is in the lineup tonight for Portland in Game 2 against Manchester but the Pirates are behind 3-0 after the 1st period.

probably because of that great goaltender Manchester has, Johnathan Bernier, ex MAINEiac. Halak isn't doing so bad either.

Luke Adam had an assist on Portland's only goal tonight but they lost 2-1 in OT to Manchester and are now down 3-0 in the series.

Well, Manchester swept the Pirates with a 7-2 win last night, however the good news is that Luke recorded another assist, and had an even +/-. By the looks of the scoresheet, Jon Bernier had a stellar game in net for Manchester, stopping 44 shots, including 22 in the first period alone.
