Congratulations to the best team in the Q and all their fans, and to everyone in what's a fantastic organization - Danny Flynn is for my money the best coach in the Q, and proof that you don't have to go Quebec Quebec Quebec to find true coaching talent..... and Robert Irving is bar none the league's best owner, a man who truly cares about winning and taking care of his team and its fans.
Congratulations to a good CB boy Fabian Joseph in winning a ring as assistant coach!
And most of all, congratulations to two former Eagles, two former first round picks of our team who unfortunately for us ended up winning a championship elsewhere. Mark Barberio (who I for one never, ever wanted to see us trade) and Scott Brannon. Looks good on both of them!
Best of luck to the Cats as they represent the Maritimes at the Memorial Cup - I'm feeling that Moncton and Windsor are on a collision course.

Congratulations to CB for being just 3 wins from being Q champs Durocher knew what he was talking about The last 5 times the Moose have been knocked out of the playoffs they've been knocked out by the team that wins it all... where's their trophy Kind of a crazy stat actually.

Congratulations to CB for being just 3 wins from being Q champs 3 wins ? ... it was that one OT loss in a game they should have won. Win that game and they cruise to the Mem Cup.

I knew 3 was too many, they seemed so much closer lol. When I saw the Durocher Re-signed thread for a second I thought he resigned or quit but now seeing how close CB was the re-signing makes sense.

That's like saying PEI was 3 wins away from the Cup final.....different if CB took Moncton to game 7, anything less than that is meaningless

If you need a blueprint of how to build a championship contender i'd say this is the team to use.
Great job by Moncton.

Except against Val D'Or in 2007.....the Foreur didn't win it all. Normally I wouldn't respond about such a small thing, but hey, 2007 was a pretty good spring down here in Maine! ;D Cheers to the Wildcats. Win it all, boys!
