How is the weather today? Any chance the game will not go tonight? Ask Picassokitty .....he has been locked on to The Weather Network for the past 18 hours . Mishandling my username could be interpreted as intimidation. You should be nice, especially to a visitor.

Too bad Fortin fuc_ed the 2nd period Goals weren't really Fortins fault. Mostly the defense.

Good luck next year, I am sure you will have a better team then.

Well I don't think buying the series on Telus was a very good investment I know there were injuries to key players but I did expect Cape Breton to put up a much better fight over the series. Hopefully the players can put it behind them and come back next season ready to build upon on the progress of the last few months. Good luck to Gatineau in the next round.

Too bad Fortin fuc_ed the 2nd period You can say fuck here. It's the Maritimes. Tough end to the playoffs for the Eagles. Can't be disappointed in their season though. Went from being the worst team in the CHL to finishing 9th in the Q - almost home ice advantage in the first round. Future is bright in Sydney. Dumont should probably pick up Fitzpatrick in the first round, though.

Congrats on a great season Cape Breton, we had some battles with you guys this season there is brighter days ahead for all the Maritime teams.(Halifax may be a bit behind, as we start the rebuild but I think we've already started it fairly well)

Too small, to soft, and it ain't gonna change - let me put my broken record on the hi-fi.
They can "compete" in the Maritime division because other then Halifax the other teams are worse than the Eagles, but they sure can't compete against the real teams in the Q.
No passion, no fight, no push back, they seem like a bunch of individuals.
Rumor is the dressing room is very divided along french vs english lines, which isn't a good thing.
Hopefully Dumont brings in the some grit, some size, some muscle, some players that will go through a wall for their team and their teammates, both up front and on the back end.

WE NEED A GODDAMN ENFORCER! Nobody would be running and beating up the goalie if we had a dedicated, great and intimidating enforcer. Even somebody like Millman would be good.
