Wether or not Donnelly is guilty of a trip is irrelevant. A trip might be worth 2 minutes but doesn't merit a suspension... Obviously. No one said he was going to get suspended. Jimmy asked because he wasn't there. We all told him no. Catnut said there was very little if any contact, I simply pointed out that the contact was the stick.

A decision on the Tesink hit will be made tomorrow. As per Mikaël Lalancette's Twitter account.

5 games for Tesink... I agree with that. The league will now give the Armada 3 more picks but say the SeaDogs did nothing wrong.

5 games is appropriate. Good for the league for getting this one right.

Is 5 games appropriate in the regular season ?
It almost seemed deliberate to me. I'd call it 10-12 in regular season because of that ... but would have been happier if they held him out until Rd 3 in this case. That could be 5 minimum ... 9 maximum. If his team loses the next 2 ... he is out of the league and is somebody elses problem.
I'm ok with 5 ... just wished for more.

uh oh look out Saint John.. with Tesink suspended i bet the Armada come knocking on the door looking for more compensation. You should have told them he could possible take a run at someone in the playoffs

But in the playoffs they tend to go a bit lighter. Not saying that's right or wrong but it tends to be the case. How badly injured was the other player? Sadly, I kind of forgot about that. Like it or not, that tends to have an impact as well.

Lalancette says the game today is on MAtv ... anybody know if we get that ? I think it's only available in Quebec with Videotron.
