Didn't seem to have the legs in the 3rd ... looks like they just ran out of gas. Legs? Lack of depth is what I would say. Most rebuilding teams suffer from that. We had 14 1st year players.

I hadn't notice if the Titan won any games or even made the playoffs? Did any of your "looking good in street clothes players" actually do anything in the playoffs?

You won't hurt nobodies feelings by talking about them. lol

All in all this season has to be deemed a success. Lots of young players got some excellent experience and I believe we have some very solid building blocks moving forward. It will be interesting to see what direction the Cats take in the off season...
I wish the boys the best of luck over the summer.
Go Cats Go!

Doesn't usually because most of the time he has no idea what he is talking about. I/we have to be very pleased with how things went on our side. Most predicted a sweep for BLB and we managed 2 games and came close to playing a game 7....alas, the better team won without a doubt. Time to cheer on the Moose and keep the cup in the Maritimes just a little longer...

We can roll 4 lines but when we needed a goal there was only one line we could really count on. It makes you wonder what we could have done with Campagna in the lineup playing with even a little bit of heart. When he was motivated he really helped the Cats offense.

I was just pestering you a bit bud. haha For the Cats, I think I picked BLB in 7...I thought the way they struggled down the stretch, and Moncton just getting their top 6 injured guys back, it would go the distance. 6 games against a team with 40+ wins is nothing to get down about though, with the amount of new guys you had on your team this year.

Caissy was fined $2000 on March 27 for "failing to comply with the rules governing". His earlier suspension was dated March 21. He sat out the 24th and 25th and played on the 27th. What could this be related to ?

Most of the core will be gone after next year(Barbashev Lalonde Dubeau Tkachev), unless they can contend next year, they will be rebuilding again in 15-16. They have a few good players younger than 1995, but not nearly enough to build a strong core with, and no 2014 1st rounder. Garland and Holwell appear to be potential future core players, after that it's mostly 3rd liners and #4-5 d-men Though this year was a bit better than expected, there is no clear plan to contend any time soon.

What could this be related to ? On the same "Discipline" page, a number of teams have received fines under the same code, and the french description is also the same. Looks to be some sort of issue relating to warm up procedures.

Caissy is 20 and done, so I just wouldn't pay it. I'm sure the league would come after the team for it though.

They are ultimately accountable for the actions of their players. The league know that they are not getting any $ out of a player, the team is assessed the fine.

I'm sure the team most likely pays it, but I'm not so sure it's the team that is assessed the fine. The player is ultimately responsible for what he does on the ice..........a few years back we had a Q player (Cormier?) take a run at another and it was taken to court.....did they take the player to court or the team? did this case show the team was accountable for the actions of their players? If a kid pounds on a guy who is down and out on the ice, I think it's an aggressor fine of $500....the player is accountable for that, as it's ultimately his decision...the team didn't tell him to go out and do that.
