Hearing from a pretty good source that Hache may have a pro contract in hand by the end of the week. That being said, that does not necessarliy mean that he will not be back, but it certainly lessens the chances.

I say Darcy will likely be back and a 50/50 for Hache depending on wether he gets his contract

One gone, other going - deal with it, neither will be back. And if they are? You are very sure about things you and the people involved have no control over for some reason. Ill prefer to let the situations unfold and see where things lie in 6 months time. Of course you plan as if they wont be back but you seem intent on rubbing in every defeat and loss like you benefit from the teams struggles. Its pretty pathetic to look at your post history.

One gone, other going - deal with it, neither will be back. And you wonder why people so call "bully" you on this board? It's because of stupid comment's like that. You have made time after time again. First off - Lets let this season finish for the other teams Second - Were trying to ice a competitive team, were not going to get rid of our 2 best players. Third - Stop with the stupid comments and maybe you won't get ripped apart so often.

You will notice he only gets his point across when things look bad...when the team was winning he didnt post nearly as much.

Your right Jack that's my fault as I forgot to mention that we really have no control over it. But if they are back we would for sure be keeping them as 20's I would imagine. I was just sick of Paulyboy being so negative.

I'm not sure about Darcy. If he is drafted, would the team just let him finish his overage season and then sign him? Or would they sign him right away and put him in the AHL next season? If he's signed as a FA, I'd say he has a 1% chance of coming back though
Now about Hache. Just from looking at Phoenix's AHL depth I'd say Hache is probably 4/5 on the list behind Broduer, Melindy, Cade Fairchild and possibly a veteran. It's up to the team though. They could have him playing less than 12 minutes a game in a tougher league or have him be a top 5 defenseman in the Q and play 25+ minutes in all situations. But the question Phoenix is probably thinking now is would he just be spinning his wheels in the Q? Or would it give him a chance to improve upon his offensive numbers?
Just wondering, who was the last player to have a professional contract and play his overage season in the Q?

Joey Haddad comes immediately to mind.
I am sure there are others.
Hache leaving is no slam dunk for the reasons that you mentioned, but the fact that he was signed certainly lessens the chance that he will return.
He certainly would be missed.
Free agency I would think would be the best opportunity for Darcy. I am confident he will be receiving offers. He may be able to find a better spot for himself through this route.

He arrived with the signing of Donnelly. He left after the trading of Donnelly. He mercilessly criticized Donnelly's main competition for playing time. This type of character is best left ignored.
