On first thought, I have to think Gatineau will win this one.
But then, I look at the Mooseheads, and recognize they haven't been challenged yet in the playoffs.
Are they that well prepared they are simply throwing the Piques off their game?
How good are they? The Moose certainly have confidence in their game right now, and that will be tough to de-rail.
When all is said and done, I am thinking the Moose will win this one in the third after a tight game.
Piques will stay out of the box and the Moose win it 2-1.

Any game Halifax loses is blamed on the refs it seems (excluding Reesor and some others).

Ironically I'm the only one that's mentioned them in the series (did so in the pre-series warmup) We should expect different calls, as we'll be seeing different referees than we're used to. We have to stay calm no matter if the calls go our way or not.

Find a game we lost that a significant number of people blamed the loss on the refs (excluding Quebec loss, which you have to expect any fan base to be unhappy with a 17-3 PP advantage)... not complaining about a bad call or whatever, but rather a game that people felt the refs cost them. It should be easy, you say any game we lose this happens after all. I quickly clicked back on a few losses in Jan/Feb and saw nothing.

Much better quality video of the laser intro. I`d get a little motion sickness if I were those refs lol.

Groulx can complain about the penalties all he wants, but they were all legit penalties. Sometimes refs don't call some of the ones they called, but they are all penalties regardless. I think everyone just wants consistency, and we will never get that with the Q refs, so some games you will benefit, and some games you will get the shaft.
By the way, we had a goal in game 2 where the puck may have went offside, and Groulx called for a review of it, but the call was upheld. Isn't there supposed to be a minor penalty if you challenge an offside and are wrong?

Groulx calls out the refereeing in the 2nd game. I'm sure we'll have something to say about it after tonight. Are you suggesting the Quebec based referees have a different rule book?

Game 1 I thought he was, and maybe Groulx did, challenge our 3rd goal where Reway had the chance to ice the puck on our PP and didn't and the puck was kept in leading to a goal. Beautiful setup to Gadoury with the tip in the high slot and really stupid selfish play by Reway leading to that goal.

On the other hand if we get Dutil I will have to get a 2nd mortgage for my personal swear jar.

Dutil and Charron are the two refs the Gatineau fans dislike the most.

Of the next possible 3 games in Gatineau, this one tonight will be the hardest one to win. The Mooseheads will have to match Gatineau's intensity, especially early on. Take the crowd out of it by scoring the first goal early. Stay out of the box, don't give the Olympiques a sense they can win.
