Its interesting too that both teams had a similar path to this point in the playoffs - each getting a weak maritime team in round 1, and a fairly talented but also gritty team in round 2. Results have been similar, although VD certainly didn`t beat up on the Titan like I expected offensively. Someone mentioned they only had 3 PPG`s against them too. It is extremely close on paper... but if I were a betting man I would tend to pick the team with Drouin, Fucale and all the Memorial Cup experience. bathurst did what they had to do to try to slow them down though....they played a solid trapping game clogging up the neutral zone like crazy....I doubt you see that type of game in a Halifax/VD series...offense against offense, should be fun to watch. I am just talking about their PP though, in that if Bathurst could effectively shut it down, we may have some luck too. With Drouin and Ehlers on the PK against 2 offensive defensemen, we may get our share of SH goals too.

I remember back in the day, they always used to be occupying much of section 24-25. Now I see fan groups in the upper bowl - near the front but on the sides more than center ice. Yeah as much as I would like to be sitting with my fellow fans, I'd rather pay more and be able to sit in the lower bowl. I've had very bad experiences in the upper bowl. The wall coming down in front of you seems like it divides you from the action not to mention it blocks the scoreboard then you have a bunch of teenyboppers who think they're at high school and all they do is gossip/talk about Facebook, etc. I'm not travelling to Halifax to go listen to that, I'm going there to watch hockey and hopefully see a couple of good games. I sent an e-mail to the Foreurs yesterday and I'm still awaiting response. If they have lowerbowl seats then I'll purchase some from them. If not, I'll support the growing economy known as Halifax Mooseheads scalpers. Chances are it will be their last year to turn a profit for a while. I have prime seats in section 7, and we still get morons sitting around us talking about anything but hockey the whole game. It's not exclusive to the upper bowl, although it is definitely more consistent there.

I don't remember what the overall stats were, but the pk was the ONE thing Bathurst did well this year...I know at home when I checked it before we were in the top 5 in the league. think it was 82 or 83% at the time....not sure what it was overall...probably around 80-81%.

Better than Halifax's 78.8% chlcluster.leaguestat.com/download.php?client_code=lhjmq&file_path=daily-report/daily-report-2014-03-17.htmlProbably because teams' 4th lines were out on the power-play so much in the 3rd period when their team was already up 5-0. Not a bad PK at all. o.O

Most people are great around me but sometimes over the years the seats behind me were for a social event rather than a hockey game, but better this year. I like sitting lower because personally I feel more in the action. I find sitting up higher, I don't feel as much into the game. My own personal preference.

Probably wrong thread for this, but pretty dead. Rimouski scores 4 goals in the last 4 minutes of the first. Doesn't look good for BLB. Anybody think Rimouski would give BC more of a go. Should be an interesting series either way.

Go Moose Go just curious why if necessary Game 7 would be an 8 PM Start is it because of travel? I just assumed it was because it would be on sportsnet till I discovered it was a Tuesday night?

Edit...4 goals scored in first 4 minutes of second period. Score now Rimouski 5 BLB 4 end of 2nd...guess u are never out of it.

I thought this series was over 2 games ago, and Rimouski would have a breeze winning it in 6....it's 5-4 right now after 2...Rimouski didn't have the puck on offense for more than 3 minutes in the 2nd...BLB dominated them.

Rimouski have practically blown the lead, it's the second intermission now and the Armada have stormed back to make it a one goal game. I know Rimouski was the heavy favourite coming into this series (especially because of the Armada's injuries), the only reason I stubbornly chose BLB to win was because I want them to win

Oligny is suspended for the game, and now it looks like Morin, MacKinnon and Kostalek are all playing hurt. They're gonna have to dig deep in the 3rd to come up with a win. Armada have all the momentum right now.
Edit: No Sam Morin to start the 3rd for Rimouski.
