That guy sure looks like an ass now. Not so much a "formality" Are you talking about Jevpalovs? He was actually very humble in his on ice interview and even thanked Rimouski for giving them a great series. Etienne Brodeur celebrated like that on home ice in a game 3 OT winner against the Sea Dogs a couple years ago and no one really complained about that aha No Jevpalovs was great, he's talking about the guy who hit a 400 yard 3wood uphill into the wind. You know the 2nd round isn't over and BLB is still alive right? yeah, it's over...BLB is on life support....just a formality now with the series finishing up in Rimouski. As much as I'd like to see Clapperton get through for my hockey pool, I don't see it happening. Losing the last one at home should deflate them enough for an easy Rimouski series win.

Crazy finish to a crazy series... I also didn't think Martel was coming back at all for this playoffs. Surprised BLB had what it took to beat Rimouski, and come back on them in the series and this game. They seem like Baie Comeau-lite though, a good mix of scorers but ultimately win with gritty defense. I would think BC's overall superiority will take the series, especially with BLB going through this grind. I was on the fence as to who I wanted to win that series. A healthy Rimouski team beats a healthy Blainville team IMO. But since Rimouski has so many injuries on defence, Blainville will probably be more of a test for Baie-Comeau than Rimouski would've.

With the next 2 games being in Rimouski........nobody for a second thought BLB would come back and win this.

Being a Leafs fan you should know that no series lead is safe and definitely no game 7 lead is safe. Anything can happen.

A Game 7 for the ages, for sure. And Critchlow's refuse-to-die individual performance ranks among the crazier things you'll see in sports. But as for an overall wilder game, I think yesterday is tough to beat. A blown 4-0 lead. BOTH starting goalies yanked. An 8-7 final, in a Game 7, for Godsakes!

Was able to get lower bowl tickets for both games. It's in a corner/behind the net but at this point, I'm just happy I'm not in the upper bowl! I passed on row B of section 7 because I didn't want Jacquestrap throwing shit at me.

Doesn't look like the game is going to sell out at this point. Looks like about 2/3rds of the upper bowl is sold right now, and it should slow down after the initial push.

Kris Letang scored the shootout winner.

Add a 0 to that and it should be a good weekend in Halifax. I didn't even say anything bad about their team yet they're calling me a troll for just posting on their board.

Critchlow's individual performance was insane, and the circumstances leading to that game were crazier, but last night's game in itself had quite a few more twists and turns in general. A game like that in those circumstances at this stage of the season is just not supposed to happen, period.

I can't say I blame the Mooseheads if the don't allow Eastlink to show the games or at least blackout the local area. That is pretty disappointing to have 1500 tickets remaining for both games.

Its Wednesday and the lineup at the box office probably is going to continue with Lunch coming up downtown. Could see large portion of those gone.
