Why do I feel like we only have 1 line now that can score? The cheap call that gave them their 4th goal on the PP was the backbreaker in my opinion. Kind of took the wind out of our sails after we scored our 2nd goal. Then calling the phantom call on Mantha to "even" it out after that fact was a little too late for the refs to make up for their "mistake". Three penalties to the Mooseheads on dives by the Foreurs. I wonder about the refereeing of games sometimes when it just is so obvious that they are calling makeup calls and everyone is expecting it.
Reffing shouldn't be predictable. Just call the legitimate penalties and not the dives, which lose the games for teams. Its too late to give a makeup call because the goal the other team scored is already on the board. Fraser was a joke down in the corner laying on the ice like he was shot, took how long to get up and then was on the ice the next shift. What an embarrassment.

Darveau barely got touched and went down harder than a penny whore who got hit by a nickle. Sent fro m my SGH-I337M using proboards

Does anyone know why that Moose goal was disallowed. I sit right behind the net and Im sure that was in. Moore's sidekick (drawing a blank) swore it looked in when it happened, then said it looked in on a replay he saw (although not the best visual). The moose players by the net stopped playing to argue it went in too. Not sure.

Wasn't a fun result, but enjoyed the game. Love a game where you are watching a team working their ass off and fighting hard for each scoring opportunity.

They also said Halifax got more benefit from the reffing than Val Dor did and that Halifax was outplayed by the Foreurs...please continue.

Only a few issues with the refs, nothing more than the usual. The Mooseheads did it to themselves this game (not going to single out a player). Quit trying to soften the blow of the loss by blaming the refs. Uphill battle, but still thinking positively.

I think WE should have taken the powerplay instead on the penalty shot lol. The PP might have given US some momentum. Also, penalty shots aren't what they used to be seeing WE have the shoot out now. Kind of takes the excitement out of it. Well, I hope WE play better in Val d'or and maybe get some breaks. WE will probably fly out tomorrow so that will give US lots of time to practice and maybe get better at the things WE weren't doing very well in the first two games.

Didn't notice the reffing much, and Val Dor wasn't often outplaying us. I'd love to know the puck possession time - felt like Halifax were pressing them from the 3-0 goal onward.

The post game show...they also discussed the problems of playing a battle ready team when you have a cakewalk to finish the season. Then they discussed the keys for getting back in the series and it all pretty well fell to Fucale leading the way. They also though VD has done a great job of blocking passing and shooting lanes, which was the Moose pp hadn't been able to get on track...that was about it.

I guess the worse thing u can do is reply to someone like yourself. Maybe your team will be half decent next year and you will have a reason to post on your own board this time of year. Betcha can't wait till September.

Gatineau was as hard a battle as you can ask for, and both teams had an easy 1st round. VD are hardly "outbattling" us, they have just been more opportunistic at this point. And I don't mean that in a bad way per se - they are generating a lot of offense from the blueline and keeping it simple on the road. Hopefully we do that in VD.

I just don't think Gatineau was as deep as VD. They had to take penalties to stop the Moose 5 on 5...which of course opens the ice for Drouin to goto work. VD has game breaking skill with Mantha and more support players with skill...like Halifax had last year.
