Interesting rumor, Page was never going to report to CB and Bureau has been a disappointment so far in his young Q career. Deschamps is a 96' Dman which fits the direction of the team. I'm assuming he is the stay at home type with his point totals the past 2 years. Not going to read anything into his minus 52 the past 2 seasons as Sherbrooke has been a bottom feeder.

Good move.
Bureau cant hold much value and we get a 4th in 2 years fir a 2nd which i assume is this year.
I wonder if Page reports now.

Interesting move and nice move for the Eagles. I thought for sure Brassard from the Isles would have been dealt to Sherbrooke. I sure hope Sonie has another destination for Eric.

Stephane Leroux said 2nd is comp pick, late 2nd and if Page reports, 4th becomes a 3rd!

Great trade by Dumont. Phoenix unlikely to draft Fitzpatrick now. Wonder if the Eagles nab him 5th overall?

The writing is on the wall for the eagles in the coming draft after moving bureau that if available that Evan fitzpatrick is there man if he is available. If he isn't available I think you will see them move some of the draft picks we have available to get a goalie who is proven in this league that will be young enough to be here when this team reaches its potential. Hopefully our import Svechnikov will come over to play with his friend lazarev. We need to get a franchise goaltender that can bail us out when we stumble. Not saying Fitzpatrick will be pure gold at first (which i hope he is) he will grow into being a stud in between the pipes for us. He is from the province so he will likely be very happy to be drafted here and he will be happy with the fact he will be given the chance from day one to eat up the minutes and play for us.

Certainly happy with this move. It was time to move Bureau. Our young D core is full of potential.

Perhaps the destination is here. This years team does need veteran additions. A legit starting goalie that could be here for two years is my first choice to improve our team for 2014/15 and to mentor a young franchise goalie

I just don't see the Islanders and Eagles dealing togeather since they will both be stronger teams next year but I could be wrong. What do you offer?

With your recent additions it looks to me like you are planning a run before we will. Our depth in picks may not be what you are looking for. I agree that we do not match up well trade wise. Perhaps with a third team or to replace the picks you have given up.

Good point I seriously don't know if we're going for it next year or this year.
