www.theqmjhl.ca/article/qmjhl-3-ranked-draft-prospect-pierre-luc-duboisThe 15-year-old forward ended this past season as his team’s top scorer with 17 goals and 38 points in 40 games for the College Notre-Dame Albatros. “I see myself as a power forward with strong offensive ability. I like using my size to drive the puck to the net. I’m a competitor who likes to be a difference-maker in a game,” explained the 6-foot, 161-pounder. Renown for his ability to read the play, Dubois is determined to improve his explosiveness. “Every week I take part in four power-skating sessions in Rimouski and another one in Quebec City,” says Dubois. “I’m also planning on taking part in a clinic organized by Pierre Aubry later this summer in Shawinigan.” Director of QMJHL scouting Patrick Legault describes him as a natural talent who sets himself apart by his hockey IQ, creativity and his ability to control the play. “Pierre-Luc is a character player. That’s a good trait for a hockey player to have, but it could come back to hurt his team if ever he gets carried away,” says Legault. “He has all the tools to go on to a good career. He easily could’ve been the top prospect this year, but he was just a little less consistent this season than the two players ranked ahead of him.”

"Dubois isn’t the only player on his team with high hopes for the QMJHL draft. Teammate Miguel Picard is ranked 10th and the pair helped each other get to the big stage at the Palais des Sports de Sherbrooke this weekend."
Maybe his friend at 14th if Balmas/Maher are gone?
Edit: There goes Maher to the Titan.

Reilly Pickard or Mark Grametbauer could be decent consolation prizes for CB in the 2nd or 3rd round. The goalies out of Quebec this year are fairly weak. There's probably a few out there that will end up starters but nobody glaringly obvious. We will need to keep that 30th pick.

I was quite confident Balmas wouldn't drop to 13 or 14.

Mikaël Lalancette @mlalancettetva · 1m
Cap-Breton et Boisbriand tentent des inversions avec les Tigres (8 et 9).
Looks like we tried to get 8th or 9th.
