Thought I would start a thread on the possibilities of both Hache and Darcy returning to the Eagles as 20s.There seems to be a consensus that Hache will not be back and that Darcy is probably 50/50 on returning. If both return, Iwould think they would be the better of the remaining 20s. so this would pose an interesting dilema for Dumont. Do you go all in this year and keep the two or deal both and get some more assetts for the next couple of years. By the way, I think if Hache does return and is not dealt, he would be the obvious leader and clear choice for team captain. Thoughts anyone.

In my opinion I say the chances are slim but anything is possible.
Hache is more then ready for a promotion but Phoenix's defensive prospect pool is crazy good.
We will see.
Darcy could hop on a team as an FA and make a decent amount of coin in comparison to playing with the Eagles. Perhaps ECHL or AHL for him even if an NHL team does not pick him up.
Time will tell.
If they are back , you will not get a whole lot for trading them away. They are 20's and only have about half the value they had when they were 19 due to the overager cap.

In the unlikely scenario that both are back, I can see CB being legitimate contenders. Hache and Darcy give you one of the better top defenseman/top center pairings in the league, and your third overeager being one of the better goalies in the league.
Eagles are a top 5 team if that happens, imo.

I think there basically under a 10% chance Hache is back. Now Darcey I think the chance of him being back are a lot stronger then any of the CB posters are giving. Prior to the draft Willy Palov wrote an article about the 2 Nova Scotia teams needs for the up coming draft. Dumont made a comment about there top 2 center maybe being Farrell and Darcey and how they need to find replacements for them for the following season and beyond. They did go on to say about the question marks around Darcy and going Pro to thou, but it the first to time he has said anything on the subject.
If Darcy comes back you guys will have one of the deepest forward groups in the league. Bringing in Brassard is a huge boost to your team. He's not the best goalie out there but he is better then what you had in place. The only hole I think you have is an experienced19yo Defencemen would go along way for your team. 2 mans that jump out to me are Graves with Val D'or and Murphy with Halifax. Either one of those 2 guys would be make CB a favourite to take the Division. The thing is you guys have the assets to make that happen.

if they were both to return you have no choice really but to try and go for it
you're already a top 7-8 team..... adding both of them puts you very much in the mix... even adding just one of them would do that I think
