On a veteran team I would think its fair to expect them to play half to 2/3 of the games so say somewhere between 30 and 50. There will be injuries and xmas tournaments opening up ice time through a season. For someone that young the key is to show up with a smile every day and work hard and the rest will take care of itself.

I would say Lyle will be going back to the weeks crushers of the Jr.A league this year IMO.

who is the QB for Cape Breton for the next season. You have any idea of anyone else who might be able to be a QB this season? What are your thoughts on any of the rookies this year?

I feel like Leveille will be the guy, he was brought in to do the job and he's got all the tools to do it.

I think Corbeil has a shot at making the team depending if Hache is back and if the Eagles want a 16 yr old as a 7th d or if they want him to develop another season. The Eagles have a few offensive d men returning. Never know we have had some pretty strong rookies in past seasons.

I would think that Corbeil and Beaudoin have an outside chance at making this team. Fortunatelky for us, we have a good solid core of defencemen and we do not have to rush some of these kids along as we did in previous years. The top four probavly will be Deschamps, Bell, Leveille and Lalonde, with tow of them being 18 and the other two are 17. Hopefully Nosella continues to improve as he did in the second half last year, and them there is Dower, Paul and Baillergon, who all saw some time with the Eagles last year. If we are looking to upgrade the defence, I would think it would be an add of a vetern defenc eman, not a rookie. Of course, if Hache returns, this discussion sort of becomes a mute point.

From cbsehockey: "The Screaming Eagles have been selected to represent the CHL at the Junior Club World Cup in Ufa, Russia in August!!!" Well that's certainly interesting, are these games streamed anywhere? Looks like it conflicts with some of the scheduled preseason games too.
