Director of Hockey Operations for the Moncton Wildcats if I'm not mistaken.

Can't hurt the chances of O'Leary reporting that's for sure. Not saying it will sway him one way or another. I can see Dubois and Corbeil making it. Maybe Beaudin as well. Guess I wasn't to far off here. Corbeil is the only one I mentioned that did not stick I would think he will be up at some point this season if there are any injuries on d. D looks very promising to say the least. Nice trade to get Macintyre. He will help big time. Roster looks good. Nice balance of vets and youth. Best of luck in Russia boys!!

Now that training camp is over, just a few thoughts on the process.Thought camp was competitive, no real surprises on who was selected. The surprise of camp IMO, was the play of Felix Matrineau up front and Jeremie Beaudion on defence. These two kids impressed right from day one and deserve the selection to the roster. IMO, a couple of disappointments as well. Maxine Baillergon on the back end was a disappointment to me, he did not have a good cut. Also Michael Lyle, as a returning 19 year old he did not show much and was among the first cuts. Like the looks of this team going forward, once they come back from Russia, probably two spots to fill up front, possibly Mason Gray and a 19 year old from the waiver draft. Defence improved dramatically with the addition of Macintyre, top 6 on D now looks pretty solid. Looking forward to a productive season.

D'Italien and Ballaigeron (sorry for spelling) are final cuts although D'Italien will accompany the team to Russia.

any news on C's & A's?
My guess is some combination of Bishop, Farrell, Leveille, and Deschamps.

Not sure if serious but he's Moncton's GM (aka director of hockey operations)

Any news about Mason Gray? Last news about him is that he wasn't sure to continue his career, but since then no confirmation...

When the dust settles after the team returns from Russia, Dumont will have some decisions to make to fill out the roster up front. As of now we have 13 forwards, but Dumont has already stated that L,Italien is being returned to Midget,Martineau has just suffered an injury and we do not know the status of Pelletier and Bishop as far as attending NHL traing camps. Looks like we will be pretty thin up front.

I wonder if L'Italien will be sent back now?

With the regular season drawing near, time to throw out a few predictions. I see th Maritmes Division as a two team race for first between the Eagles and Charlottetown, with Halifax and Moncton in a close battle for 3rd and 4th and Saint John and Bathurst at the bottom. The unknowns at this point will be what Halifax does at Christmas(SELLERS OR KEEPERS)and the unknown players in Moncton.I think the Eagles will have the strongest offence in the division while Charlottetown looks like a big physical team.Sprong should have a real good year for them.
