Pretty sure we had one less than the maximum before he came.

I don't think that means somebody has to go. CB needs bodies up front during the first few weeks of the season do they not?

Just on the Colorado Avalanche website that Duncan MacIntyre has been reassigned back to junior.

Clark Bishop sent back from Carolina today. Only Hache and Darcy left undecided now, Darcy still unsigned.

I think they're waiting for the final decision from Tampa before they name the captains personally. Was reading some Tampa fans opinions and it seems like Darcy may have been passed in the depth chart by a few guys for AHL spots this year, definitely still a small chance he's back.

Keep Darcy or trade him for other assets? Interesting dilemma. I am sure he would create quite a bit of interest from contending teams. Darcy to Rimouski for the highly touted young goalie Olivier Tremblay? Comments please.

I'd keep Darcy and trade Legare, pretty sure we'd be the favorite out of the Q with Darcy back and lots of assets to get the best available player at the trade deadline. Or another scenario, drop/trade Brassard, run with Sullivan till Christmas and then pick up a top 19 year old goalie. (Cadorette?)

I would keep Darcy and trade Legare. Tough decision but with Farrel on fire it is hard to argue that.
Would prefer to have the crease solid. Sullivan is fine for backup but he is no #1.

I think that only happens if Hache returns giving us the #1 D we lack. Cant see them keeping Legare to go with Sullivan for an extended period without it.

Looks like you need a goalie anyway, Brassard got reassigned to Quebec.
BUFFALO, N.Y. --- The Buffalo Sabres have returned nine players to their respective junior clubs: Forwards Joseph Blandisi (Barrie, OHL), Eric Cornel (Peterborough, OHL), Michael Joly (Rimouski, QMJHL), Vaclav Karabacek (Gatineau, QMJHL), and Jack Rodewald (Moose Jaw, WHL); Defensemen Ryan MacKinnon (Charlottetown, QMJHL), Brycen Martin (Swift Current, WHL), and Jared Walsh (Mississauga, OHL); Goaltender Francois Brassard (Quebec, QMJHL).

Darcy to Rimouski for the highly touted young goalie Olivier Tremblay? Comments please. This is a no brainier. Darcey is basically what Drouin was to Halifax last year. He could become the league MVP. Your team is the favourite to win the division as is. You add a talent like Darcey for free you go all in espically when it is the Q's Mem Cup year. You guys already have some pretty full cupboards when it come to assets. Plus Legare will get you no worse then a 3rd rounder. The only reason it would be that low would be limited trading partners and you have to trade him. Simple supply and demand.

With all due respect Darcy is not even remotely close to what Drouin was last year.... but yes if he returns you obviously keep him and deal someone else
