'Twas the day before training camp and all through the nest Not a eagles was stirring, not even a Brassard The gear was hung by the hooks with care In hopes that O'Leary soon would be there.
The players were nestled all snug in there beds While visions of scoring a goal danced in there head And Hank in his, boxers and Dumont in his cap, Had just settled there brains for a long training camp nap.
Out in front of Centre 200 there arose such a clatter, Dumont sprang from his bed to see whta was the matter. Away to the rink he flew like an Eagle He tore up Tims and threw up the casino.
The moon on the breast of a new hurricane Bertha Gave the lustre to mid-day to cigar butts below. When, what to his wondering eyes should appear, But 1 russian rookie and 21 others rookies.
With an 18 year old Russian, so skilled and quick, Dumont knew in a moment it must be Svechnikov. More rapid than moose his speed came, And he whistled and shouted called them by name.
Now Boucher! Now, Dubois! Now, Corbeil and Beaudin! On Tower! On, Muise! On, Paul and L'italien! To the top of the bleachers! To the top of the nest. Now fly away! Fly away! Fly away all!

No Zachary Fortin in goal, looks like he is nor going to show? This was rumoured several weeks ago on another thread.

Neither name has been mentioned yet but can you let us know how Millman and Ronahan, both from PEI look at camp. Millman might sneak on the roster in the tough guy department if he is anything like big bro

Yea no Fortin. Is he like hurt or are they holding out to trade him or did they just leave him out by mistake. I thought he played well last season.

I agree Flannigan. I think Lyle be in tough. I think he is on the bubble for sure. He is a local boy so I cannot say much bad about him but I do remember somebody on the Titan board saying he was going to be something amazing after lighting it up in his first training camp with the Titan. Guy did fine but he was no top 6 guy.
Jboyz , if you would kindly fill us in on the practices today that would be great. Thanks.

WOW NICE CALL shows me you don't know much about being a goalie, well it's all good everyone has an opinion but if you have never played the position you can not appreciate what happens out there.

I think when you are a goaltender the way to get on the same page as the coach is to stop a couple of pucks. WOW NICE CALL shows me you don't know much about being a goalie, well it's all good everyone has an opinion but if you have never played the position you can not appreciate what happens out there. I am sorry if I gave you the impression that I knew much about being a goalie. That for sure was not my intention. I know you get a little sensitive about goalie talk, and if there is a connection to you and one of the goalies from last year there is no disrespect intended. All i am saying is that in a result driven sport in this type of league a goalie needs to stop pucks. I have no doubt that there is a lot happening out there. Goalies get blamed much to easily and get much praise as well. i wish both Fortin and Bureau much success this year wherever they end up. Confidence in your goalie is key for a coach or a teammate just as a goalie knowing that his coach and teammates have confidence in him is huge. I think one of those things was missing last year or a combination. I hope they have solved that this year with their change in nets.
