Also impressed with young Beaudoin on defence and Martineau up front. Still no sign of Mason Gray, Clark Bishop there but not on the ice, young draftee Alex McDonald not on the updated list nor on the ice. Not much info coming from the coaching staff as far as players being released or players leaving camp, Pascal Vincent used to provide a daily update on these issues. So far none of the 4 goalies behind Brassard have stepped up to grab the backup spot.Hear they are taking 3 goalies to Russia? I say they will take Brassard, Sullivan and Muise. Makes sense that they will do this because if one gets injured then were screwed.

Does anyone know how many players the team plans on taking to Russia? Will they have a relative idea of their line up come that time?

I seem to remember a quote from them saying that the team will be made before they leave to Russia. Perhaps they will bring an extra player or two in case of injuries but I suspect the team is made this Sunday.

Team starting to take shape. Colby Muise, the 16 year old goalie, seems to be distancing himself from the others. Beaudoin on defence reminds me of Lalonde last year, he looks really good. Of the 16 year old forwards, I like Dubois and Caza, Martineau and Tower look like two 17 year olds who could crack the lineup.

He wasn't there the first day, nor the second. Not sure what's going on with him. May have showed up yesterday but I can't say for sure.

Pretty much bang on Flannigan, with the following exceptions. I would add another defenseman, Hache is only hear getting some ice time, he will not be here. Also I would add another forward, I believe they normally go with 14 forwards.

I'll pencil him in as a seventh defencemen. As a 14th forward I'd throw David Caza in there.

Here's my prediction: Svechnikov-Bishop-Lazarev Legare-Farrell-Pelletier Dubois-Simard-Gauthier Tower-Gray-Brunelle X-Martineau-Boucher Leveille-Deschamps Lalonde-Bell Nossela-Beaudin X-Baillargeon Brassard Muise Have you head anything on Gray yet? I see you have him listed there. I think we should give one of the kids a chance over him. We have Brunelle to fill the fighting role if need be.

My lineup would look as follows: GOALTENDERS; Brassard and Muise DEFENCEMEN; Deschamps,Leveille, Bell,Lalonde, Nosella,Paul and Beaudoin. FORWARDS; Legare, Farrell, Pelletier, Bishop, Lavarev, Svechnikov,Simard,Gauthier,Brunelle,Dubois,Tower,Martineau,Lyle and Caza.I did not include Gray as he has not been around and no word on him so I assume he is not coming.

How do former CBW West Islanders Sisco, Boneaparte, Tower, and Sullivan look? I'm on the west side of the island and don't get to take in any of the training camp.

How do former CBW West Islanders Sisco, Boneaparte, Tower, and Sullivan look? I'm on the west side of the island and don't get to take in any of the training camp. Colby Tower seems to be a lock for a 3rd/4th line position while the opportunity may arise for him to jump up to 2nd with injury/good play. His and puck handling reminds me of how Farrell plays. I watched him doing battle drills, very intense and great puck handling when pressured. Mig Sullivan can play, there's no doubt about that. We acquired him in a trade and I strongly believe that he would have been a backup for Brassard, HOWEVER, with Colby Muise playing surprisingly well to this point, I say it's a battle for the backup position between Muise and Sullivan. Sullivan may have the advantage due to being in the league a few years, it's all on how Dumont wants to have his backup tender. Alex Bonaparte & Stephen Sisco - Both walk ons who are your run of the mill walk ons. They can play, no doubt about it, however they just don't what it makes to crack the lineup. Both should excel in Jr. A however this season.
