If you had a chance to take Sprong you take him. This is a bold prediction but I think he will be the best player in the division this season. Yes I know Ehlers will be back but Sprong has just been unreal at camp. I think you have a very good chance of being right with your prediction . At the 12 spot , giving up a first to take Bell and if you don't , you possibly get a Sprong as a consolation prize , just didn't make sense to some people . For the record ......Dumont seems to have done a "very very" good job but I questioned this one .

Ive heard some people around town say the team will be awful while others have mentioned contending. I'm starting to think that these people were right about the former.

Anyone that follows junior hockey knew the Eagles looked decent on paper.

I know I'm just a leaf / eagle fan that had a few too many trying to drown my sorrows.

Thus far the answer to the subject of this thread likely (for you guys anyway) has to be words like:
Disappointment Shock Anger Frustration Pain, Suffering, Heartbreak.....
I really don't get it with your team. It looks so good on paper and sucks so bad on the ice. The talks of performances by certain players looking like they aren't giving an effort and don't care...I still think a good team is there somewhere but it needs a shuffle. I never thought I would ever say this but you guys need to pull a Bathurst maybe. By that I mean how Bathurst always seems to do a pile of trades and in the end they end up with pretty much the same calibre of players and team they had before, just different names.
I think that might be exactly what you guys need because the quality of players is there for the most part but the mix of players/personalities/styles/etcetc...well something is not right. No way this team should be struggling this bad.

Kind of like the Islanders last year we started off good. But really shit the bed once players came back from camps. We had loads of talent on paper just couldn't gel as a team so Grant sold off players with value. Not quite as deep on paper as Cape Breton but the Islanders should have been battling for first or second in the division they weren't so Grant pulled the trigger.

Here is why I disagree. CB and Char will be among best teams in the Q in 2015-16, but this year Cape Breton has the right mix of age and skill to take the little step and win the division. Halifax has 4 players left from their championship team and honestly in January will have to think hard about where they will place when considering whether to keep one all-star goalie or not. Charlottetown could win 20 more games than last year - but they are still a little young and I think a year off actually challenging for it.... Every team has that year they climb up into the discussion then the year they are top 6-8 in league and then maybe elite. Cape Breton is a year ahead of Charlottetown. It will not hurt these teams to have games against Dogs/Titans to pad the stats, but outside the Maritime @rim @que @r-N @blb I see Cape Breton more competitive right now than the Islanders.. Thats my take on 2014-15 but in 2015-16 they will both be elite teams (however Im not partial to either team for what its worth) I just need to say BLB is not a team to worry about this year. Pretty close to a full on rebuild there. To be honest it's a full on down year for the league as a whole. The top teams are going to be top teams by a bunch. The middle is going to be clogged up. another dandy right here

Don't know how the hell they are winning like they are. They have one line and a 17yo goalie who is playing unreal. They should be in the bottom of the standings. This is just a coach getting the kids to play ever game. But wow you must have been bored today. I guess you know all I don't have a clue about this league you god and PEI is so good ahhhhhh what did I miss here?

Turcotte has good numbers but he has only played about 5 or 6 games.
