Interesting thought. Matt Donnelly was cut today by Drummondville. From what I remember, he seemed like a solid Dman. He's good friends with Cam Askew. Wouldn't hurt to pick him up and give him a look in camp.

Lots of guys are leaving to go NCAA, now Critchlow and Roche are gone... NCAA mafia rules! What the pluck!!! Roche had a great camp, was on a week team (very few Wildcats) but scored, won the battles along the boards. OMG, even shut Garland down coming out of corner where Conor slammed his stick in frustration... The pro scouts I had a few beers with, agree with me.. oh well...we just don't know how to speak USA!

Yes he is listed as a D but can play both roles, similar to Haas

Announced in the Amherst Daily News today that Josh Pugsley has committed to the Ramblers for the upcoming season and will not be returning to the Cats. This announcement and the Doucet announcement are likely strategic. Both guys wanted to stay around here ... so instead of getting cut and going on waivers ... they leave on their own and avoid waivers. Both guys can now stay on our protected list and be utilized in a callup role ... and perhaps work into a more permananent role if the opportunity arises.

Announced in the Amherst Daily News today that Josh Pugsley has committed to the Ramblers for the upcoming season and will not be returning to the Cats. I assume this is mostly due to a family illness. That was the reason reported as to why he was not in camp...
