Anthony Marcotte @anthonymarcotte
Je vous en parlais toute à l'heure mais c'est maintenant fait. Hugo Talbot-Tassi se taille une place chez les Wildcats de Moncton.
Weird...

Does anyone know if this week's scrimmages will be held in the main rink and the 4-plex?

Hodge confirmed the signings of Murphy and Corson. I'm a bit surprised, I think Corson would benefit greatly from a year in MAAA given where he played last year, rather than on the 4 line.

Hodge confirmed the signings of Murphy and Corson. I really don't like the signing of Corson. I do like him a lot, but he is not Major Junior ready yet. He needs to put on some weight. A year of Midget AAA would have been really good for him. So now that he signs, Who do you think is the odd man out? Bower?

Not so sure about the Corson signing...though I do like him, but I do like the way this roster is shaping up right now.

In Hodge's column this morning, the team sounded very high on Liam Murphy - Shannon says he is the equivalent of a first round pick, and the odds on favourite to play a top-6 role.

I do think Murphy will start the year on the wing with Barbashev and Tkachev. He is a skilled guy that is strong on the puck and can play physical. Good fit IMO.
Murphy-Barbashev-Tkachev Garland-Askew-Lalonde Olivier-Johnson-Smith Seeger-Corson-Cormier Jacob-Bower-Leger
If they only decide to keep 14, I think the odd man out is Bower, now that Corson is signed.
20YO-Sweeney Holwell-Malatesta Johnston-McInnis Dorsey-Klebanskyj
*If both Dorsey and McInnis decide to leave, Maybe Alex Mann.
Dubeau Rioux

I think Cormier or Jacob could benefit from starting the year in Jr.A.

I think Cormier or Jacob could benefit from starting the year in Jr.A. Jacob is more of a Major Junior calibre player than Bower. Jacob brings more speed and a higher skill level. As for Cormier, I don't think you can cut him at this point. He is the tough guy now that Halabi and Haas are gone. As for Murphy, he isn't really a typical 16 year old. he is much more physically mature than majority of the players. He looks like a 19 year old out there.

Dubeau Rioux
Judging from what I've seen, I think Bower will start the season in Junior A. Kind of disappointed with his camp soo far.
