Limbo season # 1 starts tonight as Halifax heads to Bathurst to open up the 2014-15 campaign. Ehlers, Fucale, Gadoury, D. Moynihan, Murphy, Hardie (Injury) and one of the Fitzgeralds (?) missing tonight.
I picked Halifax in LMS without realizing they were missing so many players, so it's my own stupid fault. But I'm keeping the faith. 3-2 Moose.

This is very tough call. I think the Moose can win this game but I also think they can be shut out. In the same thought proses Bathurst can do the same thing. I don't think Bathurst has a lot of fire power but with Murphy and Hardie out there defence is stronger then Halifax's. Halifax is going into this game without there top 2 centres, top 2 scores, top 2 defencemen, and top Goalie. Yeah the more I look at it this might be ugly.
Let's just say I don't there is any way Halifax stays in the CHL top 10 this week.

It's Josh Fitzgerald who is injured, and there is no timeline yet for his Return.
Defense should look something like this tonight
Lussier - Cavan Ford - Tailifier Nauss - Worthen

When did Hardie get injured? I recall Fitzgerald getting hit from behind...but don't remember Hardie. I'll say 5-4 Bathurst.

I haven't taken in anything yet so I don't know how these new guys will be able to handle the workload at this point, but it doesn't look good. Then again, by Christmas some of these guys may be playing like veterans.

Willy Palov seems to think he's good to go and John Moore says he's out. I'm hoping Palov is right.

6-3 Halifax as I have in FNP, Bent is suspended too which I'm kind of confused on it stems from an altercation last season with Saint John but he was allowed to play the entire pre-season.

I would be shocked if Halifax scores a goal, much less wins the game. I'll go optimistic and guess 5-1 Bathurst.

I'm not that convinced Bathurst can come out and light us up. It is possible with the home building and the energy after the re-brand, they could do it, but Bathurst still has a forward line of rookies and career third liners. They're not much better off than us up front. That being said I'm excited to see Maher and Medrios play.
I think tonights game will be a pretty tightly contested matchup.

Not that I'm suggesting Bathurst is a beast or anything- just that all of Halifax's best/most veteran players are out. In their building, I just don't see it ending well. Halifax teams always struggle to score goals at the start of the year, and when they are missing basically every offensive threat they have, I dont see the pattern changing. Hope I'm wrong.

It's really hard to predict the forward lines tonight. Maybe something like
Meier - Fortier - Falkenham Watt - Crossley - Shewfelt Moynihan - Leblanc - Vuic King - Parker
Assuming Bent is suspended still, that's 11 forwards we have available. I suspect Leblanc may move up.

2-0 Titan after 2, new webcast is so much clearer I'm pretty impressed so far I've only seen the last half of the second; hope we can at least get a goal only down two but tough to come back when your down 8 players. (I hope some of them are back by next weekend)
For those of you not on the twitter machine Ehlers has scored for Winnipeg.
