I strongly believe that if Darcy or Hache do come back, they should try to swing them to Quebec or Rimouski and keep building for the 15/16 season. That would be an awful thing to do to the players and fans. We need to get multiple good seasons of being a top team after so mamy years at the botton. There is no excuse for us to not be a top 5 team come playoff time. If Darcy comes back Legare gets moved. I think that is obvious. We cant keep trading for tomorrow when the present on the ice has so much promise.

I was thinking about this myself and I think they'd end up trading Brassard instead, its a weird situation though. Pretty sure there is no chance he is coming back though, Dumont himself tweeted that darcy and hache are beginning their pro careers this year. Is the goaltending good enough though to trade Brassard. Brassard is probably more valuable than say a Legare would be based on the lack of depth. And with an abundance of goalies anyway, especially OA you might not get a taker or a good price for Brassard. No way is our goaltending deep enough to do trade Brassard.

IF they had the opportunity to trade one of the two for a player like Donaghey at the draft, I think you jump at it.

Farrel with the huge game last night. Guy is playing with that intensity that everyone likes to see. Last local overager to play like that was Culligan and Haddad.
Lazarev with the big clutch to put the game away.
Legare was more productive in the Russian tourny but now it seems Farrel has the upper hand.
As stated in an earlier post I think Darcy is unlikely to return but I feel there is a small chance. However , Dumonts twitter post and common sense gives a good nod that he will not be back. I do not check out Twitter.
This team has a lot of potential to be top 5 but I feel we should wait a few weeks when accessing our own buy or stand pat scenarios.
If Darcy came back it would all depend on the return. Do the mouse and the cheese thing where you hold him in front of Quebec and see how much they will give. Of course , that is all hypothetical on Darcy returning.

That's a lot of IF'S in this situation. It All depends on how legare and brassard are playing. I don't think darcys back but I'd trade brassard if legare is having a good season. Is brassard is playing bad, you have to try and bring in someone that can be here for 2 years. We also need a d, luckily we have lots of assests.
It's wait and see, lots of factors of maybes.

Lots of factors indeed. If Darcy comes back, it would be nice to keep him along with Farrell and Legare and trade Brassard to open up the 20 year old spot, only problem is, if you trade Brassard, who plays net for us, unless you get another goaltender as part of the trade. Also, who might want a 20 year old goaltender at this point. Also, I think Darcy would net a better return than Legare in a trade. It would become real interesting if by some chance Hache is returned by Arizona.

what's with the three stars in Bathurst? A guy with a -1 rating and no points gets second star? Farrell has a hat trick and no eagles are stars? Not like it counts for anything but really? Hey Caper, not sure if you saw yet but the league updated the game sheet to reflect that Farrell was indeed announced as the second star. Again, he played a hell of a game. www.theqmjhl.ca/schedule/show/game/67224

I just can't see darcy going anywhere if he comes back. If hache and darcy both came back, which again i know theres such a slim chance, you trade legare, try and trade brassard, if not just let him go, and bring in someone like fucale, and you put all your cards on the table and go for it.

twitter.com/TBTimes_JSmith#tblightning seventh-round pick Cameron Darcy said he doesn't have an AHL deal yet, but hopes to prove he can play for @syracusecrunch I guess there is still a slight chance.

To me CB are the best Maritimes team and will finish first of the Division....by a margin.
Actually Saturday's game was a very good test for the Titan and helped us to gauge where we stand with this team for the season.
It would be a terrible mistake not to go for it this season for CB....specially looking at your picks available and possibility of getting one or two of Darcy/Hache back.

I do not feel it would be a terrible mistake not to go for it this year. I think there are enough draft picks to trade and load up for talent at the draft next year. in the meantime we have a great year and let this team learn how to win, learn how to compete with the top dogs and learn how to play with the pressure of being a favorite. Also getting two or three playoff rounds under their belt for a championship run next year. Dumont has always talked about next year, no need to sell the farm now lets see how this goes until Christmas trading period before talk of whether to load up or stand still.

IMHO our biggest priority should be bringing in two 19 year olds (95's) that will fill our 20 spots next year and also help this year.
I will assume at this point we will be aiming for a 20 year old in nets next year to replace Brassard.
I do not see Darcy returning but if he does I would have no objection on moving him if it strengthens our team for 2015-2016.

Maybe this Team has.............2 runs in it ? That's what I say thinking as well. Next year we're gonna be losing around ~75 goals worth of production in Farrell and Legare, so I honestly think we should be looking at this 2 year window here. We have 4 1st round picks and 2 3rd round picks this year to pick up the absolute best available player at the trade deadline without even really sacrificing the future, we can easily keep 2 of our 1sts while still getting whoever is available. The main problem next year is we don't have any real 20 year olds, so we should be targeting 2 19 year olds this year in my opinion.
