The Eagles look to bounce back tonight and play with the same intensity they did for the final 15 minutes of last nights game.
Expecting a big game from Legare, hes been pretty quiet thus far this season.
Hopefully 3,000+ in attendance.

Svechikov vs Henley Tonight ? 2 x 17 year olds , who after only 1 game seem to have a genuine dislike for one another . I think we will see a 60 minute effort tonight , following the 3rd of last night . Like to see us be a little less selective with our shot selection on the PP and a little better grip on .......SPRONG . Love watching him play but he reminds me of some of the other players who came in here over the years , in the sense , you get nervous when he enters your zone . No score prediction but the Eagles get the spilt .

I believe your commentator just said Brassard is coming back... not a huge surprise of course, but the timing is always of interest, and with the changes to 20 years old players' pay, there can be apprehension at the back of one's mind.

Anyone else notice that on two separate occasions they had 'TV' timeouts on icing?

Full 60 minute effort and a scoreline to show for it. What more can you say about Farrell? 12 points in 4 games... Sullivan was very sharp tonight and deserving of that 1st star of the game. Refs were doing their best to give the islanders a chance to get back in the game, perfect 8/8 on the penalty kill though. Bell is obviously much more confident this year and it shows, same with Leveille and Lalonde, they have all definitely grown as players. Also unrelated to tonights game, Chicoutimi's off to a 1-3 start and we have their 1st round pick this year, should hold some very good value around the trade deadline should we need to add another 19 year old. (also Nicolas Roy only has 1 point thus far )

All around great effort by all . Sullivan looks right now like a Goalie who will give you the best he has every night . Plays with great energy .

Great bounce back game by the Eagles. Played a full 60 minutes with solid goaltending, certainly makes you think they can compete with any team in the league when they play like that.
Other than the obvious big names I thought Boucher played one heck of a game before existing after scoring his first career Q goal. He brings a lot of speed and 'truculence' to the third line. He sure makes defencemen pay when going back for the puck, sure hope his injury isn't severe.
PL Dubois also had a great game. You can really see that his hockey IQ is off the charts, he's in the right position and makes the smart simple play. He has earned coaches trust as he has been thrown out on the PK and PP. He looks like the real deal thats for sure.
As a little side note; Does anybody think this may be the best skating team the Eagles have ever iced. This team is FAST.

Reading some avalanche fans opinion on MacIntyre:
"I thought MacIntyre was 20, but the guy is just 18 years old. He's gotta go back to LHJMQ if he doesn't make the Avs, but still a pretty impressive camp for a player that young."
"MacIntyre - Far and away the best tryout guy all weekend. Power would be the second best."
"#59 MacIntyre: Was surprisingly solid; good at everything, great at nothing type of player. Single handily held the fort at times with good stick work after stupid turnovers. I hope we actually sign him to an AHL contract. Good Camp."
"He really should have been drafted by somebody this year. I'm hoping the Avs take a risk and sign him before sending him back. He will thrive next year away from Boucher."
Gotta love hearing that, hes making the most of his opportunity.

Good to hear MacIntyre is doing well, some good comments from people watching him. However, I believe they are a little off on some of their comments. Firstly, he cannot sing an Ahl contract as he is only 18. Similarily, he cannot make the Avalanche as he is undrafted and has to go through the draft first.

Yeah a lot of the comments were made before they realized he was only 18.

He already got passed over in the draft so technically he can sign with them and make the team. Donaghey from the Remparts just signed with the Leafs the other day as an undrafted free agent who is also 18. Great to read that he is having a great camp.
