3-1 Loss.
Eric Leger picking up a goal.
5 points in 5 games for him. Nice find by Gilles Tasse...

Disappointed in the result last night ... we weren't outplayed but I can't say Chicoutimi didn't deserve to win.
Strong game by Garland ... Legere is going to be a star.
Cobham is a 19 YO on our 4th line ... not showing any sort of toughness ... when Tkachev returns I think he'll be released.
Not sure how our 2 spare Dmen are going to find icetime without anybody getting injured ... none of those 6 guys deserve to sit.
Lane Cormier deserved more icetime last night ... really stirred the pot everytime he was on the ice.
I think Legere may have earned a shot with Barbashev and Tkachev on the top line ... leaving Garland/Askew/Lalonde as line 2. I wouldn't break up that Olivier/Johnson/Smith line.

Cobham is 18
Leger was best player on the ice.
They'll release a D early in the week.
Leger deserves a shot with #21 & #22 If #94 comes back I'd do this
28-22-21 94-19-8 10-12-11 17-14-26

Tesink has been re-assigned to SJ Midget ... per Hodge's twitter.

Tesink has been re-assigned to SJ Midget ... per Hodge's twitter. As much as I hate to see him go , it's probably best to be playing every game and getting lots of minutes. He has a bright future in the QMJHL , he's more than capable of playing this year. Most pleasant surprise from this year's draft imo.

With the reduced pay for 20yo in the Q this year, playing in the ECHL might be more attractive.

I'm sure they are getting "education money" to offset the loss of "pay. ECHL doesn't pay a lot and you have to find living accomodations, grocery, electricity etc

Olivier has been very solid and is a crucial part of our defensive game and penalty kill. He's not the most polished player but is very effective in his role.

They are getting education money now when they weren't before.

No ... if he signs with an AHL ... and not an NHL team ... he'll have no affiliation with an ECHL team. If he signs with an NHL team then he can go anywhere they decide.

Not through an AHL team but he absolutely can sign with an ECHL team. That wasn't part of the question. The question asked "if he signs with an AHL team ... "
