Isn't that dead now since they traded Mandat to the Foreurs? They still have 4 OA's. Miceli, Yarwood, Leduc and Whitney. I dont think Whitney has even dressed for a game yet.. he is likely the one to go

Chill out, it isn't like this team is supposed to be awesome. Things will be right in a season or two. Pretty much. I don't think there's much of a point breaking down this team right now. It is what it is. Young, inexperienced, they're going to make a lot of mistakes. Injuries hurt, but even still, the stage this team is at right now is unavoidable. Every team coming off championship seasons goes through this. Just sit back and be patient. A 2-4 start isn't a surprise. Fucale and Gadoury can only do so much. Meier is playing well, but teams will key on him a lot more now. Ehlers will obviously help a lot, but there is no quick solution right now. Guys will improve, but it's gonna worse before it gets better.

We lost a lot of talent over the last year Andrews ,Asley,Weegar,Drouin ,Ryan ,Duke ,Trey Lewis etc its going take another 2 /3 years to rebuild sit back and watch there will be strides made in the end! you can have Ryan back anytime you want him.......he is useless so far......looks lost and disinterested....sucks that guys seem to not care after they have won it all...I guess if you have nothing left to play for, no sense in playing...pride seems to be a thing of the past in a lot of Q overagers. A winning atmosphere has a lot to do with that as well. It puts peer pressure to perform so as not to drag a good team and mates down. If they know they are going to lose before the year even starts it can seem pointless.

Guys will improve, but it's gonna worse before it gets better. Yeah the comments (not just here, but talking with people in person) go like this: (Pre-puck drop, game 1) - "Looking forward to a season with no pressure to win/looking forward to watching these young guys develop/looking forward to seeing guys like Meier and Moynihan get prime ice/rebuilding should be the focus, trade any asset we can by Xmas" (Post 7th game) - "these guys are brutal/we can't make a decent breakout/we need to make some trades to get better/this will be a long painful season" While most know what kind of a season we are facing I think its still natural to expect better things from guys who can't do much better (even though we are early in the year still). It's interesting because when we all make our predictions looking at the league each year, there are always a handful of teams that are clearly rebuilding and their roster looks pretty icky, and when they start 3-10 in the first 10 games or whatever, nobody is surprised as that is the kind of roster they have (regardless of coach, goalie, star player etc). But when it YOUR team, a strange sense of panic or frustration sets in even though you expected this.

If they know they are going to lose before the year even starts it can seem pointless. Ryan plays a slowish, sluggish style for the most part. Its not like he was a quick, hardworking, lead by example guy when he was here. He was always a good guy to have on line 3 as he was a big body, strength around the net, and had a nice shot that could provide offense from a 3rd line. If he is going to be on the top 2 lines, he will need linemates which compliment him and will do most of the skating and playmaking.

The best way to fix it, is just look up to the rafters, and all the pain will go away .

You've seen Vuic play right? Kid turns like a cement truck. Regardless, even if he could, if the goalie wants to taunt him with the puck until he's right on top of him, fk it, snow him, he deserves it. And if the other team is pissed off about it, who gives a shit just play better hockey than them. We failed to do that and now it looks bad on us. I still don't agree....he could avoid it if he wanted too and should....that's a cheap thing to do no matter what the situation. No. It's not. You don't get special privileges just because you wear pads. If a Forward or D does something that's "against the code" like shoot on the net after a whistle, somebody comes over and gives him a whack with a stick, there's a cuffuffle of some sort, theres repercussion. Goalies. Do. Not. Get. Special. Privileges.

Every player in the league knows he's gonna cover it if they get to close....the player chooses whether to be an idiot or not. it's cheap.

I have to LOL when anyone gets bent out of shape about a snow shower. If the goalie is working hard its actually a favor, saves having to pick up the water bottle to splash himself!

Vise-versa, the goalie knows the player is going to go after the puck until the play is dead. You can use whatever slurs you want, "Cheap" "Idiot", doesn't matter. Doesn't mean your argument holds water because you apply language to it. Like I said, non-goalies get it a lot worse.

Do you even know what you're arguing about?
