Besides the Moose being in the rebuilding stage, missing key players due to injury and a virus affecting some of the players, I think they did well. With Ehlers back, that will certainly help rejuvenate the team and restore our lineups.

To be fair, we can't exactly use missing players due to injury in that game as an excuse. Val-d'Or's defense on sunday was comprised of 4 rookies, a 17 year old sophomore and a forward playing as their #2 defenseman (A forward who couldn't crack the Titan.). Not one of the 5 guys from last years D was back (I don't even count Gravel.)

Not to take away the fact that we played much better than the week previous, but, that was a very winnable game. I didn't even mention the fact that Monpetit is the rookie backup we faced.
