The Mooseheads continue their 3 game in 3 day weekend coming off their 3-2 win over Charlottetown last night. They lost to the Sea Dogs 6-5 in overtime (after losing a 3-0 1st period lead) the last time these two teams met in Halifax a few weeks ago; the last time they met in Saint John, the Sea Dogs whipped the Moose 7-0. The Mooseheads will be looking to atone for those defeats and get a significant winning streak going.
Saint John is a pretty resilient group, coming back vs. the Moose in Halifax (6-5 in OT in Halifax on September 20; came back from 4-1 down in Cape Breton recently; winning 5-4).

I wonder who gets the start in net for the Mooseheads tonight. Have to think Resop will get one of the two NB starts.

Fucale starting against Sea Dogs. Vuic is the scratch. Healthy scratch or injured ? I was looking forward to watching him and Dundas go at it....

Ehlers with a goal, but he owed us that one. 2 nights and he's scored 1 and is directly responsible for 2 against.

What a difference from last year. I have a 23 inch monitor and it is as good as watching the game on tv.
back to the game.to many penalties.and as much as I want to I cant blame the reffs.
Resop is playing well, game is not over.
GO MOOSE!!!!!!!

Lots of penalty troubles for the Mooseheads. Thank god the Sea Dogs power play is abysmal. Down by two with 20 minutes to go, not over yet.

SJ play well against us so far this year. Not a great 1st for us, started 2nd strong, but SJ took over in the middle section and really had us scrambling. We got strong at the end of the period. Resop playing well, not much more he can do. Auger was sharp when we had some good chances late in that period.
Overall an inconsistent game from us, but I like some of things I am seeing regarding moving the puck etc...
