Yeah, not enough in my eyes. If it were a local CIS team, it would go more in-depth as well! Button line dude, there is little mention of this issue. In any other league in this region we get something. As far as recent history for the Mooseheads, if memory served me correctly, everyone has behaved well so there hasn't been really any issues since Marchand. CIS players get disciplined all the time with little to no mention of it in the papers, let alone the specific details. If you're talking about Tyler Richards and the Rainmen - that's a completely different issue as there was criminal charges laid and he was an adult.

Nobody can just let the obvious troll post lie. Everyone's gotta poke it with a stick. What a strange comment. Everyone that posts on here wants to initiate or be a part of a discussion. Not sure what your reason for posting is. But I've already said too much in this response, any responses from you related to your attempt at derailing this thread will be ignored, but I'm sure you will be ok with that.

We hear about CIS football players being suspended for disciplinary measures. To your Rainmen point, wasn't referring to Richards, moreso Crookshank and Brown.

Lol @ the Eric Laplante reference. Bringing up something that happened almost twenty years ago. Gold, Guru, Gold! What about that dude from junior A that they cut after a few games for disciplinary reasons, Chuckie Shambri or something like that? They released a statement on it! What about the defenseman... can't remember his name now, last name was Clarke maybe?

Palov ignoring all people on twitter asking him anything about Vuic. Palov should just quit the herald and work for the Mooseheads already.

When you are a Sports Journslist in a Town where your biggest team to follow is a Junior hockey team you must pick your battles very carefully. Causing a pissing match with a hockey club over breaking news on a young man making young man choices is not worth throwing years of relationship building between organization and owner. Unless criminal charges do we need to know all the juicy details.

What about the defenseman... can't remember his name now, last name was Clarke maybe? You're completely arguing against yourself now. So they released a Junior A player and said it was over disciplinary reasons. They've suspended Vuic and have cited it was because of disciplinary reasons. What's the difference? If you can pull up an article about Garrett Clarke with juicy details on all the things he did wrong I would love to see it. I don't think it exists however; you're going to see the same blanket-type statements about Clarke's behaviour that you're seeing with Vuic. And that's fine by the way. These are teenagers largely playing for free. Holding them to the same standards as adult professional athletes shows a complete lack of rational thinking on your behalf. Re: CIS Players… Once again I'll ask you to show me the articles penned by Palov or another local writer where they get into the juicy details of any team-issued suspension. I can't recall any articles saying "Player X will miss this weekend's game because he showed up wasted to Friday morning practice and threw up during the warm up drills", but I'll gladly admit I'm wrong if you can show them to me.

I'm too lazy to research now, just remember reading. haha. I'm okay with blanket statements from the team, a blanket statement is an acknowledgement, don't need the full blown details, don't want it. Just write an article that Vuic was suspended for behaving badly and get a small quote! Palov a p***y!

This is silly. Nobody in Palovs position where he privy to all kinds of things that he sees by default with access to organization would make public those details. Its a personal issue of a player and he needs players to trust him and be candid with him.
Also this is slippery slope ever since the kid in the OHL with Saginaw took his own life last winter. The organization totally has done the right thing protecting the players right to privacy by not saying anything. If at some point he is removed from the team their obligation to say more may be greater...but how is it beneficial to the team to tell us what the discipline was for? How does it help Vuic? How does it fix anything? It can only hurt the team and player. Suspension alone is reason to believe they take it serious.

That is too bad. Palov had to have known about this. I'm more upset about our main access to Mooseheads' news is a puppet. It is a principle thing with me. Hopefully Vuic receives a second chance and does well after the fact.

As far as most of us are concerned, being a young person myself it's no one's buisness but the law and the teams to discipline, not supposed to post about their personal lives I know my personal life isn't all over the internet.
