Wow ... that should have been a save. You mean on a 50 goal, NHL 1st round pick on a breakaway from the blue line in? Don't get me wrong it would be nice to get a save but to say it should have been a save is a little far fetched.

Not pinning anything on Brassard but you're only as good as your goaltender.
Fucale has made some big time saves this game 3 breakaways a few point blanks - but we can't ever seem to get that big game stop.
No matter who you are, you're only as good as your goaltender.
Moose deserved this game. Out played and out worked us.
I'm not panicking...yet...
Just hoping another few weeks can connect the "on paper" with the "on ice".

Lots of bad things about tonights game but I think I will just post the comments ( quote / unquote ) of Hank Izzard after the game with B7 .......Our Skill guys are not Warriors ......our skilled guys took the night off ....Francis Brunelle is a Warrior.....our skill guys are not.....they don't know how to be Warriors !
B7 went on to say that he was a little bit surprised at him actually saying it .
* Translation......"No Heart" !

Actually finished listening to the moose head post game show where a caller phoned in and asked " Since the Eagles are suppose to be one of the # 1 teams, how do you think the moose were able to beat them.

Hopefully this team is just going though the " BJ Penn " peak Where there's no sense in being at the top of your game untill it matters.

Tried watching the game delayed and it was seemingly in a slight fast forward which made everyone look like they were flying around the ice at an NHL pace but not fast enough for the game to be going too fast. It was weird and I couldn't bother to watch it as it made everyone look like they were going all out even when they were half assing it.

It was pretty much the exact same move that Farrell made on a breakaway earlier that game and Fucale made the save. We need our goaltender to step up from time to time and make a big save.

It must have made the Eagles Defencemen look like store window mannequins as Ehlers blew by them because in real speed they looked like they were wearing cement skates .

The difference in last nights game was Fucale. The Eagles had a lot of scoring chances that could have and maybe even should have gone in. As for Brassard the first goals he had no chance it was tipped in by Deschamps. The Watt goal was one I think he should have had. Ehlers first goal was a goal in any league with any goalie in net so can't blame him for that one. Fortier's goal was a lucky goal all round I think. He got the break away and he got by Brassard but he hit the post and it sat there he was just able to knock it in. Then Elhers last goal I think could have been saved or a goal it could have gone either way really. I do think you guys need to upgrade in net badly. Your Eagles as a whole didn't play badly just hit a really good goalie when he was on.
I loved the play of Deschamps, he's a big mean hard hitting defence men. Bell stood out for me on the offensive side of the game. Both Lalonde and MacIntrye played good two way games. Noselle had a good game too there were a few time I said who was that about him. The only one who looked average to me is maybe your best defence men, Leveille. He was just kind of there you know.
Ok I get why most of you guys say Dubois is unreadable. He did not look like a 16yo out there. He did everything good last night. My only knock on him is he needs to work on getting his shoot harder. If he had a harder or quicker reless last night he would have had one or two goals. Which brings me to the part where I have to say if you guys add he's the first thing any team asks for no question.
Earlier this year someone said something about Bishop not being a top 6 guy. Last nights game he was your best player for sure. I can see him being a point a game guy this year easily.
I think part of your guys problem is coaching. I think Dumont should just GM.

I'm not the biggest Ehlers fan but he's one of the fastest players in the CHL so he's going to make a lot of defensemen look like store window mannequins wearing cement skates
