After coming off a 5-2 loss, the Eagles return to home ice to take on the Mooseheads in a rematch. Section 7 & 10 sold out so far according to the Tickets Cape Breton site. Should be a nice crowd. If Darcy isn't back tonight, I expect Brunelle to play a top 6 roll again tonight. Who gets the start? Wouldn't mind seeing Sullivan to give him a chance but I don't see it happening.
Hope to see some scoring break out. 5-3 Eagles.

I'll say 4-1 for the mheads. Predicting eagle wins hasn't been working on here often.

Probably one of the better games I've been to over the last 2-3 seasons. Boys didn't quit tonight. They wanted it more.

Wow what a finish! After Farrell's goal the mooseheads just gave up it seemed.

Hats off to Brassard for that performance.
The energy in the building leading up to the tying goal and then Farrells winner was amazing, same thing we did last year on Pink in the Rink night, minus the overtime.
That's the kind of explosion our offense is capable of, I didn't think we were beating Fucale tonight but Bell tucked one under the bar.
Did Brunelle get hurt or was he benched for the 3rd? Don't remember seeing him.

Funny how positive the posts are with the win. You guys were 3 minutes away from being shutout on your home ice by a rebuilding rival moose team. The posts would have been VERY different if not for the last minute surge  |

Losing 1-0 would have likely garnered some where did the offence go discussion but the defence has been stepping it up the past few games so there is that.
Probably would have been some discussion on how Gaudreau was left wide open on his goal. Oops I mentioned it.
Great to see a good effort more than anything. Day and night compared to Friday.

I though it was a very good game, great comeback and Fucale played and exceptionally good game up to the last three min. Eagle's defence played much better only need to look at shoots on goal first two period certainly the first period. We have a good team. Once we decide who will play with who i think we will be much better. In my opinion we should be playing both goalies and give them a chance to get better and them we can see which one is the better goalie. Maybe we will do this once we have stable lines. Top players can and must play a bigger role with this team in my opinion.

We also need to get as many fans out as possible it makes for a better season and the games are more interesting yes i know we need to win games and fans will go to the games!
