I guess I'll start this since no one else has.
The Mooseheads are completing a 3 game in less than 72 hour period stretch, having split the first 2 games; including a 2-1 loss last night to the Blainville-Boisbriand Armamda. A win gives them 4 out of 6 points, which wouldn't be bad considering.
It wouldn't surprise me if Kevin Resop (1-3-1, 3.98 GAA, .861 SVP in 6 games) gets the start in goal. Timo Meier leads the Moose in scoring (7 goals, 10 assists, 17 points)
Victoriaville is 7-5-0-2 so far this season. Brandon Whitney (6 GP, 3-2 record, 3.10 GAA, .901 SVP). Chase Marchand (9 GP, 4-3-0-2 record, 3.14 GAA. .912 SVP.) Angelo Miceli leads them in scoring (9 goals 14 assists 23 points)

Unfortunate the Moose had that goal called back. Anyone see it? Sounds like it's a fairly even game with the Moose outshooting them. Sounds like Resop could've/should've had the 2nd Victoriaville goal.

6-0 and a line brawl breaks out. Bent, Murphy and Ford all scrap.

This could be an ugly third period.

About the only positive thing for the Mooseheads in this game is that it's finally over. A disappointing weekend after the win on Friday. The struggle continues.

Well that was tough. Worst loss since 2009, score wise. Defensively, the Mooseheads were atrocious; Resop was worse. Only a few days to recollect themselves before the play Charlottetown.

I am starting to believe you can not be a successful cometitor every year you need to really tank every once and awhile to restock the shelves. There are afew exceptions to the rule like The Olympique and Quebec who alwsys seem Iup there. Or Bathurst who is always weak and never has luck to be successful . We were very lucky the last few years with how it all worked out. But if we do not make many trades this year or at least get top 5 Pick in both drafts or our future is very grim. If we finish the season and have any success in the layoffs it better be without Fucale Ehlers or you wil really see s horrible next year. Competing every year is impossible,

This team is missing 2 defencemen and a decent center and backup from being a decent team imo. I'm not saying we need to buy in any respect, just my opinion.
I'm really starting to think Ressop isn't Q caliber. He seems to be getting worse and not better. He's a big body but damn is he leaky.
We are going to need a lot of help to be a good team next season, I think. Not to mention, our powerplay is atrocious.
On the plus side, for the future:
Nauss is looking like he's going to be a really good player. It's hard to believe he's 16 some nights. Ford is becoming more reliable by the game.

Ykes... glad I wasn't able to take in any of this one lol.
Couple things above - I think Resop has been pretty good this year overall. As a rookie he is entitled to a brutal game, and maybe it was destined to happen in our 3rd in 3 on the road.
And just idiotic to have your top line out in the last minute of the game, up 8-0. Blows my mind when I see that, especially in a game with a linebrawl already (assume that's what happened)

We better be making some Christmas trades and with multi first rounders we can try and grab one of the top goalies available.
