MikeC and Raimu must be excited for the Wildcats return to Halifax. They get to see the "asshole" and "douchey human being" that is Conor Garland.
Cats win 5-4

Cats win 5-4 *Yawn* Ya know, you're being sarcastic but I'll bite anyway. No I'm not really excited. Moncton games in Halifax are generally pretty boring to watch. Tho granted under Darren Rumble the Cats have been a much more exciting squad than under Flynn. Hey, Idk anything about Garland other than what I see on the ice. He's a good hockey player, but he also seems to have an inflated ego. I could be wrong, just my observation. Anyway, Moncton will probably win this game, the usually do. Mooseheads haven't been a very fun team to watch so far this year. Lots of issues. I predict there will be more new dents from pucks on the back boards behind Dubeau tonight than on his pads. He probably won't even have to make a save, just stand there and let the Moose miss the net. Edit- But hey, thanks for being generous and saying we'll get 4 goals We'd be lucky to get 1!

Check the post you made about him following the Moose home opener against the Wildcats. You'll know. I didn't make any posts about Conor Garland. I think you need to check how to use the quote function.

Good win for the moose, solid effort most of the way, until Moncton got their 1st then we were on our heels the rest of the way. Beauty goals by Gadoury.
...and unless I was missing seeing something, was that not one of the absolutely worst calls ever on Gadoury for charging that led to Moncton's 2nd PP goal? What was that? It appeared like Gadoury was coming up the side boards, braced for a hit where Moncton guy bounced off him, and he got called for charging? Did I miss something lol?

I was baffled as well he was standing still I thought yet still got the charge. Ref has to be better than that. Although on the replay the announcers said he left his feet so that might be the basis of the call. So, I'm not sure if you leave your feet they call it automatic charging? I do think it was a bogus drive call to #3 Johnston. Had the benefit of the replay back here in Moncton and Johnston was legitimately hauled down and don't think he dove.

It looked like he did what pretty much every player does when someone comes up from the side to throw a hit, and sort of threw his shoulder into the hit, bouncing the Moncton guy off him. I would think if he left his feet, he would have been driven hard into the side boards being airborne/off balance. I thought that was a dive - Moose guy barely had his stick around the midsection, and the guy flopped down flat on his belly. It didn't look natural at all lol.

Good to get the win. Attendance of just over 8,000 pretty good. Gadoury is starting to produce more; they need that from him. Fucale, statistically, looked like he played reasonably well.

Fucale played solid. Both goals weren't his fault at all, although he really does have to learn how to swallow pucks and not have them drop at his feet. Good ol' timey tilt tonight. Tempers were going all night. Don't think Hardie and Garland will be exchanging Christmas cards anytime soon. Tkachev got hurt at some point. Didn't see anything, but he wasn't out there for the 3rd period. Almost gave it away again in the 3rd, but good win.

The boys deserved that win tonight they played a stellar game; Murphy/Hardie did a great job shutting down their top line. Fucale played well too, he had every right to be upset about their 2nd goal that play apparently should have been blown; according to Dom on the post-game the Moncton player high sticked him in the mask to my knowledge that's an automatic stoppage in play when the goalie is touched in the mask. That was a horrendous call on Gadoury charging that was so far from charging and when you have 8,000 people tell you it's a terrible call. Also Lussier and Leblanc were very good in their roles for their first game back in awhile; starting to get some bodies back. Oh and I predicted a 3-2 Halifax win earlier,Now take what you did tonight and better it for tomorrow afternoon's game in Charlottetown
