If CB don't win this, they need a major shakeup imo. Back to back with a rival who should be well below you in the standings, and a fiesty loss last night. They came on really strong in the third and should be fired up to avenge that loss. I heard Fucale was nursing an injury, and took a hard collision last night too that shook him up. Is he starting for sure? Murphy was also hit in the head late and was groggy going off... hope he's ok. Moynihan will be back though.
Not sure we will have enough to give tonight, I expect a CB win in this one.

If Fucale is nursing any injury, he should sit; no need to risk further injury if he's to be traded before the deadline. Get Resop some game action as he hasn't played much since Fucale return from Montreal training camp. The team has been playing better, and wouldn't surprise me if they pull this one out too.
It's obvious the Screaming Eagles have some issues as they were supposed to be much better than they are. They can score but can't stop anyone from scoring on them. Whether it's players, coaching, player evaluation, etc., I haven't seen them enough to truly judge; their fans would know more than I would.

What's the chance CB could be our trading partner at Christmas. Could they use Fucale, Murphy and/or Hardie? I think they also have a few first rounder's don't they?

Yes they do need Murphy in particular. Next year they have a bunch of 19s so Murphy could stay as a 20. They need goaltending but they just want to be sure its for next year too.

If CB sticks in the basement I doubt that trade would occur. I was considering that as a typical armchair GM at the start of the season but not so much now. Fucale will not be back next year so I do not see him as being a good fit. I am also not that high on Murphy. I find him overrated.

I along with a few people on here think he could be a benefit to a contender. But he won't be worth anything close to what the Moose paid for him.

Murphy and Lussier got to go. Keep Hardie. Splitting time with Nauss and Tailliefer would be the best thing for them progress wise. Yes Tailliefer is a little weak but it's his first year. He will be a soild 3-4 dman in time he just needs to play. Lussier should get at least 2 games for the hit late in the game. He got beat to the puck fair and then suckered the guy. Worse then Danny's hit. CB deserved the win, but we will get revenge. Go Moose Go!

Falkenham out with a lower body injury which occurred late in 2nd period. According to Ducharme he doesn't feel he will be out long but will know better in a day or two.

But I don't think having Lussier is hindering anyone's development. I've found the defence has stablized since he has returned. You can't have guys like Nauss, Ford and Taillfer getting worn out from playing too much, which I think was happening with all the injuries to defence. Being worn out causes players to make mental mistakes they wouldn't normally make. They will get decent ice time even with Lussier in the lineup. I think they have to get used to the increased workload gradually. As the season progresses, hopefully the younger D will get stronger, and not worn out. Of course if Murphy gets traded, that will be a lot of minutes to fill. I should re-interate that it's the development of the players I care about and not necessarily the strength of the team.

I have attended\watched every game this year, Lussier has made the same if not more mistakes then the rookies.

I have attended\watched every game this year, Lussier has made the same if not more mistakes then the rookies. Lussier's usefulness isn't so much that he's that much better than everyone else on the team. If you compare 20yo D in the league he's probably at or near the bottom. It's that he chews up minutes. If you throw Morgan Nauss out there for 25+ minutes a game, IMO he won't automatically become the best dman he could be simply because he has more "experience". I think he'll wear down and make more mistakes. Controlling his ice time and putting him in the best position to exceed will get the most out of him.
