Apparently he's been added to the team QMJHL roster for tomorrow's game...good for him, he's made large strides this year. Probably the Cats most consistent player.

Couldn't agree more, Jacob has certainly been one of our most improved defenseman. Good for him. Maybe he will also get noticed in this years draft.

Couldn't agree more, Jacob has certainly been one of our most improved defenseman. Good for him. Maybe he will also get noticed in this years draft. I'm sure the scouts are noticing him but he won't get drafted. Pencil him down for a free agent invite.

I'm sure the scouts are noticing him but he won't get drafted. Pencil him down for a free agent invite. If he keeps playing like he is now, I'd bet good money he gets drafted. The strength of his game is defense and he's putting up points at a 55-60 point pace to boot. He was never super fast but he is moving better since shedding 8lbs. If guys like Walcott can be drafted at 19, Sweeney definitely can.
