Just wondering what everyone is expecting from the games tonight. Myself, hoping for a win but if history has taught us anything we can expect to have a lead and be completely let down by poor defensive coverage and terrible goaltending.

I seriously expect the Phoenix to score 7+ they have a scary offense.

That combined with our lackluster defensive play and goaltending could make your prediction a reality.

Well given the weather predicted and the teams play of late plus it being a Wednesday night , I would put the over/under at 2000 . Given the injuries and the mood of late and I say 4-3 Phoenix .

Interesting to note is the return of Legare and Bureau plus the first visit to C200 of the much discussed Evan Fitzpaterick.
Also worth noting is that the Phoenix added 3 20's this year Legare, O Brian and Hoyles at a total cost of a 2nd a 3rd and a swap of 6ths (13 spots up) in 2014; a 3rd in 2015; a 6th in 2016 and a 19 year old.

Here at the nest watching the game. Not bad so far, Brassard actually made 7 saves so far (weird or what). End of the first and we're up 1-0. Pretty sloppy in our own end but that's the norm for this team. What really blew my mind, and I actually chuckled out loud at this, the last powerplay we had in the period Dumont decides to put out 4 forward along with Bishop on the PP. Can someone please teach this man how to coach. My 5 year old son could do a better job than that. #*@$ing ridiculous.

Correction. I meant to say 4 defencemen along with Bishop.

The only message he could be sending with that is "hey look at me behind the bench, I have a nice suit on but I have no friggin idea what I'm doing here".

Going into a shoot out, first 2 Phoenix goals brassard had no chance. He actually played a good game. This is what we need him to do.

Brassard also came up big in the shootout, nice goal by bishop!

That's the type of game we need from a 20 year old goaltender. Too bad it took him 20+ games to show up. If he could play like that more consistently and we get a healthy lineup we might be ok. I still think there are major issues with the coaching but there is no doubt the talent is there.

Great game by Brassard.
What a difficult time we had getting the puck out of our end.
