Unless I am missing something they have room for 2 imports, Cupper would be 3rd 20? Cupper = euro and 20 Thanks was wondering since they were with 3 20s when Lalonde dealt there and just one euro counting Cupper as both. Sucks for them in a run then.

Seems like a strange team to bother making a run. They would be better with Ehlers/Fucale and Hardie.

Stephane Paquette is saying on twitter taht as many as 6 plyeare coming frm u-Shaw at te star of the trading period... Must be a few more players heading out too then. He's saying from Shawi and Quebec. There must be something more headed to these teams as 6 players for Lalonde and Tkachev don't make sense.

If u guys are in sell mode what would it cost the Islanders for Stephan Johnson? 2-2nds or 2nd and young player ... there would be a divisional markup. He is back next year so you'd have to pay for 1.5 yrs of service.

We're getting a 20 year old goaltender next year. Only one 95' born on Quebec/Shawinigan. Not sure I like the sounds of that.

Welcome Eric Brassard? In all honesty he's not that bad. But I don't know if he'd be the guy if the Cats are going for it next year. But that's the way it's looking if that's the case the division is gonna be a dog race next year with 3 teams likely looking to contend. Moncton by the sounds of things has already started getting nice pieces back. I really havebt heard what way the Islanders are gonna go but Sonier should make his mind up soon. I'm sure he knows just not telling the fans. Cape Breton should have a powerhouse next season too unless they go for it this year which some rumors are suggesting.

I don't think the Cats will have a "go for it" team next year. Too many pieces missing already and more moving on after this year. Plus Sweeney could end up pro...

According to Shannon during the second intermission, a lot of the deals at midseason are based on the long term success of the team without sacrificing this season. If you read between the lines, they are a seller, but also want bodies so they don't suck this year.
Not sure what that means for Dubeau Sweeney and Barbsahev?

Would not be surprised to see Dubeau headed to Quebec and maybe Sweeney as well with Booth and other players coming back to Moncton. Remparts may want a more experienced #1 goalie in the mem cup.

Looks like it could be Johnson and Sweeney. Boucher is also looking for Johnston in exchange of Donaghey right now. Donaghey has been average this season and Boucher has no patience at all. Doubt Dubeau is in the deal as Booth has a NTC and talked to Boucher that he doesn't want to be traded (this season). Looks like Sutton, Fiori, Donaghey and Booth are in the deal... It would be an awesome trade for both teams.

Of that is in fact the return you have to imagine that the go for it year would be in two years when all the 17 year olds are 19 and Garland is 20.
