I wonder if there are any posters here that have positive things to say. If you all BELIEVE that the players, coaches and management read your messages on this site, then why not post encouraging things to get the team motivated positively. If you all have children of your own you would know that they react much better to encouragement. Darcy isn't playing as bad as you are posting. This young man is snake bitten. He has a huge number of quality shots every game and he will have a huge game very soon. Then you will all be posting how you saw it coming. Brassard was likely admittedly in a slump which happens to every goalie. Fucale in Halifax can vouch for that. I am not hear to lecture but it would be great to have this thread have encouraging positive posts. Not just for us fans but for the few players, coaches and management that MIGHT read a few.

Dont let a few posters fool your thoughts hugh. Most regulars understand the struggles but still post the positives as well in their recaps and thoughts. There's a few new posters who just come on here to beat down the goaltending/coaching mostly. Most don't bother responding.

Frustration = Negative Posts
That's Human Nature .....Plain and Simple .
* Being Honest and Realistic , The Negatives outweigh the Positives .
* Here is the Biggest Positive ......it is not too late to turn this thing around .

I wonder if there are any posters here that have positive things to say. Lots actually. The off-season was full of positivity and hope for the future. Lots of optimism and people from outside our own market giving us credit for some impressive acquisitions. You come in during a period where we have won 2 out of 15 and ask where the positivity is. If you all BELIEVE that the players, coaches and management read your messages on this site, then why not post encouraging things to get the team motivated positively. I don't think anyone should post their thoughts here with the idea that it's going to the players and management. Do they read it? I am sure a lot of them do. What is the difference? We are fans who are here for the long haul. Our thoughts are overall about the game last night but also the direction for tomorrow. After all the current players and management are gone we are the ones still here supporting this team. History tells me that when times are good here we are as good as any fan base in the entire league for getting behind our team but the team on the ice has been lazy and uninspiring as a whole and that is simply not the fault of the fan base. If you all have children of your own you would know that they react much better to encouragement. I agree. These however are not simply children. Some are trying to sign million dollar NHL contracts or secure future positions for high level pro and CIS teams. Darcy isn't playing as bad as you are posting. You are right. He is playing WORSE then we are posting. 1 goal in 18 games. If he's not hurt then what i've seen has been a lazy player going through the motions. We've been easy on him because we know how good he CAN be. This young man is snake bitten. He has a huge number of quality shots every game and he will have a huge game very soon. Then you will all be posting how you saw it coming. He's barely trying. Players getting that sort of ice time better get chances at this level. Effort is driving to the net, being willing to take a hit to improve a scoring chance....all things Darcy has not done at all since returning. He's been a perimeter player and it shows in his numbers. Brassard was likely admittedly in a slump which happens to every goalie. Fucale in Halifax can vouch for that. Brassard is in a never ending slump it seems no matter where he ends up. His history is not good. His numbers here are not good. He's 20. People have to call it as they see it. Comparing him to Fucale? Please don't insult intelligent hockey fans. We know the 2 are not in the same hemisphere in terms of talent. I am not hear to lecture but it would be great to have this thread have encouraging positive posts. Not just for us fans but for the few players, coaches and management that MIGHT read a few. You are absolutely here to lecture your entire post was a lecture. Encouraging positivity is bread from people thinking and feeling it, not artificially giving it because it might make a 17 or 18yr old NHL drafted or potentially drafted hockey player feel better. If the team has to come here for it's encouragement then all the posts and attitude you're complaining about are very accurate in their assessments I think.
