I don't even know...was there just 2 goalies invited?
Edit: Answer my own question...just Fucale and Comrie invited.

Surprised Tristan Jarry didn't get an invite. If Carrier and Jeremey Roy don't get invited next year, idk what to think about Hockey Canada lol.

Honest question, has Fucale been better than his stats indicate? He hasn't impressed me in the few games that I've seen from him but I figure I'd ask the people who have seen him on a regular basis.

I was worried about him the first few weeks of the season, but he's looked like his old self for about a month now. Don't forget he's had arguably the crappiest D in the league in front of him for 2 months to start the season. He'll be fine behind Team Canada's D for sure.

He tends to lose his concentration at times as well. I think he needs more breaks during the reg season. With these extra camps and high intensity games it probably makes for a long grind with reg season games harder to focus. If he stays with the Moose he wont have to worry about a long playoff grind this year. If traded he likely ends up with a better backup then he has ever had. Nothing games have been the one area where he could be managed better.

IF Fucale is going to be traded then this weekend will be his last games as a Moosehead.... He would need to be in Calgary for the selection camp Dec 11

Not sure if there is a team for him to go to anyway. Certainly will be a challenge to win during this time frame.

It was, but to avoid the distraction of trade talks for the players, there is a freeze on moving players playing in the WJHC until after the tournament is over. I'm not sure if it's an"official rule", or just an agreed upon observance, but it's been in place a few years (that Luongo deal was 15 years ago...)

I'm not sure, but they may be able to announce a trade once a player's team is out of the tournament; if 2 or more players are in the tournament but with different teams, I believe they would wait until every player's involved in a trade is either eliminated from the tourney or after the gold medal game if at least 1 of the players is playing in it.

Its been 15 years wow, my memory isn't as bad as I thought. I am sure u would get the "rumour" stuff happening even if they don't announce it officially. If they don't trade Fucale, they might as well keep the team as it is and just go with it.

Only recent occasion I remember a WHJC player trade was announced before the end of the tournament was when Gabriel Bourque was traded to Moncton in 2010. The deal was announced a couple of days before the tournament started if I remember correctly.

I believe Russell stuck with that so LIKELY even before tourney we wont know. Of course Quebec teams tend to not care.
