He only gets to meet the goalie if they happen to both get named 3 stars at the end of the game.

Proud of the team for this game. Very well-controlled game from start to finish. However, if I were an islanders fan I'd be absolutely mortified. What is Ross Johnston doing in this league as a 20 year old. He served the penalty for MacDonald in the first. Excuse me? What kind of 20 can't kill penalties? Especially one that doesn't produce offense. He can't produce, he can't play D, WHAT DOES HE DO? (other than take dumb penalties and hit people) Hes effin' useless. I'm pretty sure Dwyer used hot glue on the spot where Belmas sat on the bench, because his ass didn't move all night. And then he pulls MacDonald not in response to the 5th goal, but afterwards in response to fans jeering him. 2 years in a row the Isles have under-performed, Dwyer does not belong behind a bench at this level either. Islanders lost that game in the first period. Fucale was impressive..Great anticipation. The Moose were hemmed up a few times in their D zone - just dumb plays like clearing puck not getting deep enough to change the D on the long change. One time Fucale tried to ice it to get his D a break and Ehlers reached out (thinking breakaway) and tipped the puck back to an Islander. Fucale was good enough to win a gold medal if he is that aware later this month. I know people want to sell this team apart but Ducharme has coached up everyone. With that goaltending and two months more experience on the younger D and with Ehlers, Meier and Moynihan playing like that they are just as good as the other teams in the division. Like to see a little more from Fortier...he was a little off last night.

Just curious on your thoughts.

Just curious on your thoughts. Maintain status quo.. I think the only guys they could move for value and get full potential for are Murphy and Hardie (I do not think Ehlers trade is an option whether Cam can do it or won't do it he is the best player in Q now)...but I have been impressed with the younger D and wonder what a competitive end of the season will be like for them especially if guys like Nauss and Fitz come back. So if they keep everyone the loss column difference in division is very small. Guys become good by playing. It helps if they have a goalie back there that is reliable to help then learn so we will see how Resop does. I am intrigued with how much better guys like Ford are getting at this level. Can not believe how much better the team is using Leblanc, Shewfelt and Bent lately..it has to be coaching...the Moosehead game plan is looking fully Ducharmesque lately and the pieces starting to look interchangeable all except for Ehlers/Meier.
