I don't even know what to say about the game itself .....do we need a win ? Absolutley ......Will We ? Well that is a wait and see proposition . Not Betting on it , that's for sure . A new 20 ( Hinds ) will be welcomed to the Organization but he will only command ....oh let's say 5% of the various conversations going on tonight.....the big topic will be what happened to Darcy and furthermore what the hell is really going on around here ??

Fully agree Hal.something has to give here pretty soon. With the talent that is here, we should be nowhere near the basement. I have said all along that the problem is behind the bench and I see nothing that leads me to think otherwise. Someone in upper management better look at this pretty soon before it is too late. As far as replacing Dumont as coach, there is lots of local talent around who I believe could fill that role quite nicely. Doug Sullivan,Blair jospeph, norm ferguson,John Hanna and ken Tracey just to mention a few. Boy this team is sure in a mess.

Hoping for a good effort from the boys tonight. Brassard with the start? Will be interesting to see how this team plays without Darcy. Maybe it is a move that will helps the boys play. I will say I won't miss Darcy hoarding the puck time after time. Hinds would be nice on the power play and just park him infront of the net as he is a big body. Going with Eagles 5-3, lets get rolling boys.

Hinds is a fringe 20, 3rd liner at best, he wasn't even dressing for games, and for a big body he isn't physical.
Yes he will come out flying tonight, but anyone expecting him to "replace" Darcy is going to be disappointed in the long term

He is a rather decent player. He will improve on this year's version of Darcy.

I think we'll end up with an improvement on the Darcy we've seen the last 2 months. As bois said there is no long term when it comes to new 20's in the month of December and you're in 17th place in an 18 team league.

Would not take much to replace whatever you want to call the Darcy that came here this year. Emerz said it best : All what he really did this year was hold on to the puck while dancing around the offensive zone until he lost it.

Top six forwards at this point should be the two Russians,Farrell,Bishop,Pelletier and Dubois
